Well folks, as I'm sure you're all aware, this is my last wing report.  The process of making the switch of WCs is ongoing, but expect to see Azazel in the position shortly :)  In case any of you are wondering, I'll outline my reasons for stepping down briefly :P

Basically, I have been far too stressed out from school to get any meaningful work done for the wing, and haven't achieved my own expectations as far as advancement of the wing is concerned.  The past month in particular has just been doing the mechanical paperwork duties and not really anything further, so I know that the wing deserves a more energetic leader.  Woobee put it well by saying that I have been treading water lately...  Don't worry folks, he's not being a tyrant and forcing me out, he said that after I gave him my resignation notice :P  My replacement will be Azazel, who has shown great confidence in being able to lead the wing to new heights.  I am fully behind him, as everyone should be :)  I hope that the Grey Wolf can turn around the recent slide of numbers and become the bustling place it once was.
 
In case anyone cares about me, I'll be taking a spot in Avenger flight three.  So if you'd like to talk to me about anything I'll be around in #wingxiii and by email for a little while yet :)  And of course you should be able to find me in the odd multiplayer event :P
 
Wing News
  • Obviously, I am stepping down and Azazel will be replacing me :)
  • Tomaas Banys was recently appointed Tartarus CMDR, good luck to him in his efforts!
  • With Azazel's promotion, Phoenix CMDR is open to applications, they should go to Woobee and Azazel.
  • Michael of Crusader Squadron was named the BGCOM Intimidator last week, good work!
  • Death will be restarting Operation: Supremacy after the only people to participate last time were ASF Flag Officers and our opponents, Viper Squadron :P  The website is http://www.geocities.com/DeathVIP369/OP-SUP/1.html which will be updated with match assignments soon :)
  • Week of War for XWA is on for a few more days, I'm going to try to get some games in :)
