As some of you may have heard, this will be my last report as Wing Commander. I have been chosen as the Commodore of the ISD Grey Wolf. Frankly, it's been a great three months as Wing Commander. This is a great Wing, and I believe it will continue to get better, despite my absence. I'd like to congratulate everyone on the great job you've done, from the pilots, to the CMDRs, to Ender himself. Ender has been a great Commodore for the day I stepped aboard: Resourceful, helpful, friendly, and always around when you need him. I will still keep in contact, over AIM, ICQ, IRC, etc. Please, don't send Ender Applications for Wing Commander, he'll come to you. Thank you for letting me serve as your Wing Commander, it has been a great honor!
Pilot's Lounge
Fleet Admiral Priyum Patel (BatFO) is invited by Rear Admiral Ender mBind to come to the ISD Vanguard.
Ender mBind felt tension inside him, but he didn't show it. The task ahead would be harder than anything he'd done before.
"Why have you called me here, Ender?" Priyum Patel asked.
"Well... Well... Umm... Mr. Patel, I think your medals need another cleaning."
Ender leaned foward to start cleaning, but Priyum stopped him.
"Ender, just tell me who you want to promote, I'll consider it..." Priyum said, rolling his eyes.
"Lieutenant Commander Schitzo..." Ender started.
"Yes, it is done, he is Commander Schitzo, now prepare my shuttle, I'm a very busy man!" Priyum said.
"Thank you Sir! We'll have your shuttle ready!" Ender said, as Priyum left the room.
Khadgar walked in, "So how did it go?"
"We got him promoted!" Ender said cheerfully.
"Excellent work!" Khadgar replied.
Ender could see a certain look in Khadgar's eyes which meant trouble.
"Khadgar, what's wrong?" Ender inquired.
"I promoted Garik Hizad to Colonel... That means he's maxed out his rank as Squadron Commander..." Khadgar started.
"Uh oh... So he'll be looking for a Wing Commander spot?" Ender said.
Khadgar nodded.
"Did you double your bodyguard staff?" Ender continued.
"Of course," Khadgar replied.
Khadgar walked into the Pilot's Longue with his bodyguards, and saw two men arguing.
"No, Wasp will be Wing Commander's Own next month, and you know it!" Major Jdf1984 said.
"No way... Echo will be, and you know it!" Commander Strahd replied.
"Ha, we'll see... Why not make it interesting, winner chooses the others mottos and nicknames!" Jdf1984 said.
"You're on!" Strahd said, slamming his fist down on the table.
"I hate to break up the party, gentlemen, but the COM will be here any minute, look alive!" Khadgar said.
Everyone looked up and scrambled to hide, Khadgar ran over to the lights and quickly dimmed them.
Just then, Ender mBind walked in, Khadgar quickly turned the lights back on.
"Surprise!" everyone said, popping out of their hiding places, followed by "Happy Birthday, Ender!"
This was followed by generous drinks from the Wing Commander and presents for Ender, including presents from the Commanders and Wing Commander:
Commander Strahd gave him a new flight stick for combat.
Major Jdf1984 gave him a Hard Rock music datapad.
Colonel Garik Hizad gave him a lightsaber.
Damon Kast gave him an ancient Ewok necklace.
And finally, Khadgar gave him bubble fluid.
Ender sniffed, "Thanks, Khadgar, this is great."
"Any time, Commodore," Khadgar responded...
From the Wing XV Monastery:
Yes, the gold staff again this week... Heh Heh Heh.
"Eminance, we have Admiral Blumphang for you..." Monk Mordack said.
"Hah Hah Hah." Khadgar said, raising his gold staff.
"Please Khadgar, I didn't mean any harm!" Blumphang said.
Khadgar hit Blumphang with his gold staff.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
"SOMEONE HELP ME, PLEEEEEEEEEEEASSEEEE!"
