ISD CHALLENGE / WING X NEWS

-- Wing X League announced --
The first section of the new Wing X league has been announced today - entitled Tactical Manoeuvres. This is a league involving all members and squadrons in Wing X whereby the squadrons have a major tactical choice to make before engaging in combat with the other squadrons. Full details are available at http://www.darklord.ukshells.co.uk/wingx/league/ The first deadline is that for submissions of battles to fly. CMDR's must send me these by 12 noon EST, Monday 18th June at the latest. All questions should be sent to your squadron commander as they know much of the detail, failing that to myself.

-- BGAPL --
The Battlegroups Ace Pilot League (BGAPL) has been resumed! We are all instructed to fly FREE-TIE #33. Deadline is Monday 18th. All pilots must send pilot files to their CMDR's. All CMDR's must send in their TFR's along with a report to me by 12 noon EST on that date.

-- Wing X Webhunt and Trivia --
Webhunt and Trivia continues as usual this week and has been forwarded to the ship

-- Squadron League --
Surprise surprise... there's been no news this week... anyone think we'll ever get to the end of this one?


NEWS FROM WING X SQUADRONS

-- Typhoon Squadron --
Typhoon are shortly going to take on Cyclone squadron in an upcoming mission. They are also taking the BGAPL seriously, and hopefully too the Wing X league :-)

-- Thunder Squadron --
Thunder are currently challenging Kaph squadron to a duel, and also have a competition with Mu in the pipeline. Good luck to Thunder - show them what you're made of :-)

-- Tempest Squadron --
Tempest are also taking BGAPL and now the Wing X league as top priority for now. They also have a very difficult competition coming up against eh elite Praetorian squadron! They'll need all the skill and luck they can get... Also congratulations to LT Alimet on being awarded a promotion to Lieutenant Commander!

-- Tornado Squadron --
They STILL await the results of the squadron league, and are as fed up as everyone else with it now. They have also lost a few members, but also gained a couple of members in the process - welcome back to CPT Kou Taiki, and a warm welcome to COL Quake who joins the wing from the Relentless!

-- Cyclone Squadron --
As has already reported Cyclone are up against Typhoon in a competition - may the best squadron win! They are also concentrating on the Wing X league as their main event of the next month or so!

-- Inferno Squadron --
Inferno are down a couple of members with the departure of both LCM Oskar Holtz and COL Torres. They are however in competition with Sword squadron, and also flying for both the BGAPL and the Wing X league!
