Wing XV Report #2 Major Zippy Hawk

Once again I write to you pilots with bad and worrying news that I Major Hawkie have ran out of chicken nuggets! Yes its true pilots, the last reported sighting of a chicken nugget was heading for Vice Admiral Ender office and im worried that manic of a man has eaten us out of ship and home of our prize food.
Anyway Its good to be with you again and im happy to say that echo and wasp and Python are working away and keeping busy but where's Mantis has Hizad been taken by the rebel or is he drunk if anyone has any news on where he is do tell because i love to see you guys busy not that im saying Mantis isn't busy because you guys are one most active squadrons, Im working with Ender to get ViB up and running again maybe get some of the other wings involved, well anyway on with the report.

(VSD II Aggressor commanded by Major Death and Avenger Squadron)

Standing with VA Ender, Major Hawk watch the rolling space debris pass by the view screen of the Vanguard against the blackness of space, "So Ender this is the last reported position of the Aggressor".
"Well that's what high command told me and by the looks of the junk out there, we can at least tell their was a battle of some sort" said Ender picking up a data pad.
Scanning the bridge Hawk let out a long breath, "Yeah looks that way, better start the savage operation and then I can brief the pilots on the status of mission".
"Ok, we will soon find out what went wrong ,Ensign launch the tugs and get tactical to boost range on the scanners and keep me updated", said Ender moving into his office.

Small grey box was never comfortable but someone had to sit in it and flight 3 of wasp squadron got the job, as the small grey tugs jinked and swung in and under the debris of fighters and cruiser they wonder on to a small figure rolled in a ball, "This Echo 5, to Tug control any chance you could find something we kind of getting bored holding you're hands out here".
"Shut up Schitzo, we doing our best out here and i hate flying a coffin so be happy with you're Tie Bomber", Raven Arestar moaned over the comm. channel.
"Hey its not my fault Raven that wasp got tug duty blame it on our wing commander" said Schitzo banking his T/B to the port.
"Cut the chatter Echo and Wasp 10,so i can get through to Vanguard, This Wasp 9 to Vanguard I got a living one out here request shuttle evac for him,Over". said Major Prophet edging his tug close to the pilot.
"This is Vanguard Control, shuttle is on her way all tugs stay on station Echo squadron return to base Mantis will relief you, Over".

Watching the shuttle snap its s-foils into landing position VA Ender lifted his hand to protect his face from the shuttle thrusters and moved forward, "Sir Sir tactical is reporting that they got a corvette shadowing us" called a young Ensign holding a com link to his face.
Walking up to the ramp of the shuttle Ender gave a brief nod, "Tell Major Hawk at once tell him to have options ready for me Ensign" with a quick salute the Ensign ran off.
Letting the medical team flow down the ramp Ender grabbed Lt Mo by the arm, "Doctor Mo how's our boy and who's our boy?" said Ender letting go of Mo arm.
"Sir the pilot we found is suffering from over expose to coldness of space and has a bad burn to his right leg, im taking him to the bacta room he going need atleast 8 to 10 hours of treatment" said Doctor Mo chasing back after the medical team.
"But Doc who is he" shouted Ender.
Poking his head out from the exit of the hanger Mo shouted back, "Sir call Major Prophet he dragging the pilots wrecked fighter back".
pulling his com link out from his pocket Ender wave off Lt Mo, "This is VA Ender patch me through to Major Prophet of tug control" said Ender down his com link.
"Vanguard Control we have you're link through to the Major, Vice Admiral".
"Major this Ender have you got any clue to the name of the pilot which just got pulled in" said Ender.
"Well Sir he was flying a Xwing and it's got markings of Avenger 5 but i don't know who that is Sir, they may be more information in the fighter black box Sir" said Major Prophet from his tug.
Placing his com link back in his pocket Ender made his way back up to the Vanguard Bridge.

The Novels Of The Week

This week i have select a few novels starwars novels the first of these is the:
Tales Of The Bounty Hunter ; This novel takes place during the hunt for Han Solo where it tells the story of five bounty hunters and they life's, it is a very enjoyable story and follows the film to the dot which should keep even the most film fanatic reader like Ender happy. The Second of this weeks Novels is the:
New Jedi Order Edge Of Victory 'Conquest'; This is the latest novel by Lucas books and is set during the new alien invasion from outside the galaxy, The main plot of the story is that the galaxy is turning against the Jedi and even the enemy have found yavin 4 and a young Solo runs of to save the baby Jedi's, now if you're into this series of books you will enjoy the latest offering and i have to say i did but i know there are alot of you out there that dislikes this new series of books. written by Greg Keyes

The Third of this weeks Novels is the:
I, Jedi; This is the story of Corran Horn after Rogue Squadron where this wife has been kidnapped and the only way to save her is to become a Jedi which will bring many dangers and dreams from the past, I my self enjoy this story most likely because im massive Rogue Squadron fan and think Corran scored big time with all the lovely ladies , A great book and a must read. written by Michael.A.Stackpole

Wing News and ASF News

1.BGCOM 'ASF' was on leave My wife and I just had a bouncing baby boy!!!!!! 05/13/01. So I need to take a little leave for about a week. I will check my e-mails and be able to answer, but please don't expect a report or anything extensive during this period :) I hope to be back by next Monday. Again I'll be in touch! 2. Lot of online flying going on by you guys and i love you for it anyway, You guys have been flying online and offline all week and im very proud of you all, with Staneth and Vallyn and Glorick and Da`Ger and Strahd proving the most active offline flyers and Raven blowing awy the IWATS office.
3. Name Change, LT/FM TK6864 has change his name to Wurth Skidder and i have to say i like it.
4. I LOVE YOU GUYS, Wow look at the active. I have to say Echo are really proving them self out there and Wasp are hot on there tails, with Mantis picking up the slack and python searching for pilots the wing looks like a chicken nugget 'i could eat you all up'.
5. Up to 5 squadrons, We may be up to 5 squadrons next week with Scorpion reopening under Mr Z and they will be the first Training squadron in the ASF which will give them best fighters in the fleet.
6. Week Of World XvT, A reminder to all XvT M-players out there, WoWs has started today! Get out there and start flying!

1.Tie Corps BGCOM selected Admiral Jarak's successor as BGCOM has been selected...many congratulations to Vice Admiral Adrenaline!
2. TCCOM award for April The TIE Corps Commander's Award for the month of April goes to Wing II! Under the leadership of Colonel Inkwolf, the Wing members has shown themselves to be highly active with large amounts of communication amongst the Squadrons and many IWATS courses & battles being completed. They recently triumphed over Wing V in their Wing vs Wing competition, so both myself and Admiral Havoc agreed that the Wing deserved some recognition!

10. ISD Subjugator opens, Over the past several months the SSD Avenger has grown dramatically, both in terms of size and activity. This is undoubtedly due to the hard work of not only the pilots onboard, but also the Officers. This success has allowed for a relatively rare event - the opening of a new ISD and Wing! Both myself, and Vice Admiral Firefox decided that the time was right to add this new Ship to the Fleet, so Wing XX and it's parent ship, the ISD Subjugator have been activated. The Subjugator, attached to the Avenger, is a Dark Brotherhood ship - which means that all pilots onboard are also members of the DB.
This opening also brings some changes with it:
Avenger Wings I and II have been renamed to Wings XVIII & XIX respectively.
Although the Subjugator will be an independent ship in terms of everyday function, the new COM will be subordinate to Vice Admiral Firefox in terms of seniority (and hence report to him with important decisions). The COM will also act as his XO and step in as and when needed.
It is important to note that these two ships do NOT form a Battlegroup.
Applications for the new Commodore are now being accepted. The requirements are as follows:

You must have been in the TIE Corps for at least ONE year.
No HCI convictions.
A working knowledge of all Fleet protocols and policies.
Command experience at Wing Commander level or above (the more the better).
Extensive use of IRC.
You must also be a member of the Dark Brotherhood.
All applications should be sent to Vice Admiral Firefox & Fleet Admiral Priyum and they should arrive within the week. Once the new COM is in place, applications for Wing XX WC will be taken, but not until then.
