Battlegroups Officer of the Year!
Many congratulations go to our very own COL Callista on becoming the first BG Officer of the Year, awarded by BGCOM/VA Jarak! Not only that but this week, Calli also passed the 2 year mark as CMDR of Typhoon Squadron - one of the longest serving CMDR's around!

Battlegroups Squadron of the Year!
The other award from the BGCOM also goes to Wing X! Congratulations to Tornado squadron on becoming the first BG Squadron of the Year! Tornado have worked consistantly hard all year and are one of the most active and dedicated squadrons I've ever seen in a long while! Congrats!

BG Ace Squadron League
This week see's the start of another major competition within the Battlegroups. This will determine the BGCOM Honour Escort (its honour, not honor damnit!! :P). The first stage of this competition starts now! All squadrons will participate, and put full effort into this competition! The mission to fly is Free-TIE 92, The Belhassa Marches. All pilots send submissions to your CMDR's. All CMDR's must send files to me by 23rd January. Good luck all! Full details are at http://www.impstar.net/relentless/BGAPL/

Thunder vs Sword squadron
Unfortunately Thunder lost a recent competition with Sword squadron. A big thank you to everyone who took part and participated, because that is what its all about! Now if more people would make this place fun for themselves and participate we'd all be a lot happier... Also congratulations to LT Wray of Thunder squadron for gaining the highest score in this competition, by a considerable margin!
