Phoenix Engineer's Team Open

This is to announce the opening of the Phoenix Engineer's Team. Essentially, it will be the Team's job to pick up where Project Phoenix left off, correcting the bugs our pilots find in Emperor's Hammer Battles.

Currently, the team is searching for testers for all platforms. Interested applicants should email RA Arso Slyth for more information.

EH in January XWA Week of War

EH wins 5th place among all clubs in the January XWA WoW.
EH wins it's first BattleStats Week of War medal (first BSC medal period).
Special congrats go to pilots Colonel Dras Hempor/Immortal and Major Brucmack/Grey Wolf for bring this medal home to EH.
I hope this is a sign of more BSC medals to come.

Flight Officer Admiral Theodore is hanging up Command Staff position badge to retire to tend more time with his family and newborn, but he'll stay on board as our Imperial Counsel.

After conference with the Deputy Grand Master, I am pleased to herein name Dark Adept Z'lar Kahn, a former Obelisk High Commander, as the new Commander of the Grand Master's Royal Guard. This selection was made with difficulty from a number of highly qualified Obelisk. After a brief settling/regrouping period, Adept Kahn will publicise through the DB News page or other common media when Initiates are being accepted again.
Congratulations, Adept Z'lar Kahn, and welcome back to the Dark Council . . . :)

Avenger Wing II Specific News

>The Avenger Thursday Night Training competitions, open to the fleet and the DB, are being held on the IRC channel #avenger from 8pm-11pm EST for both XVT-XWA. LoCs to winners, as is the DFC to the overall winner. JK too? Not yet.
>Well pilots after the miserable submissione I got for the new wing nickname and motto I am going to choose something appropriate. Unless someone other than CPT Jakar who sent me his thoughts. No offense Jakar there were some good ones there but I know that these pilots are here and are active I see 25-30% of them in Channel Avenger all the time, So please be patient Jakar to give these pirates and Slackers a little more time. I am going to extend it until this Saturday 12AM EST. If I do not get submissions I will pick something very fitting to represent this Wing I thought we were here to have fun not to idle and take up space. I have in the past been accused of not being active enough to be a WC. Yet people who have time to fly 15-20 battles a week or to complete three or more IWATS courses in a week do not have time to win a simple ISM. Yes I know I said PC but FF vetoed that idea and said that an ISM for each thought Motto and nickname would be better. So that’s how I will award it one for Motto and one for Nickname. Possibility to get 2 ISM’s. All I am asking folks is for you to take a few mins and send me your ideas on it that’s all. 

If you have flown these already that’s ok because its for this comp. If you haven’t then you may turn them into your immediate superior for FCHG points as well. In any case fly them.
FLY these battles its an easy way to win a medal ESP if no one else submits in the platform you played it on :P

The Count Stands at 38. Up From 37 this is great. We are finally off 37 hopefully for quite a awhile.
I would like to add something to my report this week. Its about leave status. I need to know when you are going on leave with a mail in my inbox. ESP CMDR’s I need to know when you go so that I also know who you’re A-CMDR’s are you should appoint one when you are gone longer than 2 days.FM’s and FL’s you need to make sure you let your CMDR’s know and that I am cced on these mails please. This is a courtesy as I also know that sometimes RL get in the way of things running as they should here. SO please follow these simple rules and everybody can stay informed and happy 
