News

The most important and dramatic news this week is the closing of Odin Squadron. This is something that has been building for some time, with a number of squads struggling to keep up the numbers. The decision to do this now comes with the decision to remove CM Aeron as Phoenix CMDR. We've had lots of new CMDRs recently and I don't think that looking for a new one is such a good idea at the moment. So, CM Azazel will move over to Phoenix CMDR bringing his remaining squad-mates with him. This is the second year in a row that we've had to close Odin, and it is certainly a shame as it has a great history like the rest of these fine squadrons. All the more reason to recruit though, and work towards a full ship again!
CM Ayudanter de la Clars is the new CMDR of Tartarus. He's shown great initiative by already posting a new webpage at http://www.tartarus.sphosting.com. Good work :)
Recently CPT Arathar moved to the Grey Wolf to head up Vortex Squadron as well :)
The Wing XIII competition for Free XvT #36 finished last month. Here are the standings:

CM Mace was awarded an IS-SW for his great score! Best participation from Crusader Squadron, and that brings me to my next point...

WC's Own for March is Crusader Squadron! Crusader was once again the most active single player squadron, winning their competition with some other squadrons and with great participation in the wing comp. Multiplayer participation was low across the board, but I'd like to have this as my highest priority for WC's Own next month. So CMDRs, get your people multiplaying!
