Its Christmas! (well nearly :P)
Wing X, and the entire battlegroups in fact is getting a little break from duty! VA Jarak Maldon has authorised the BG to a weeks leave from today (20th December) to Wednesday 27th December. On top of that, myself and VA Corran Force are extending this for the ISD Challenge to the new year! Being the biggest and the best wing in the TIE Corps you all deserve that little bit extra (and of course I should think most people have better things to do over the festive period :P) Effective immediately, Wing X is on leave until and including 1st January! Full service will resume on 2nd January! You are not expected to be active until then, so use the time to refresh yourselves and have some fun, and be back in the new year better than ever to keep our reputation as the best of the TIE Corps! Remember that your CMDR's are also not expected to be active so if you do decide to fly, don't expect those BSF's to be processed! As a summary as to when things come back into action:
Wing X on leave from now until 2nd January
The next squadron reports will be the weekend of 5th - 7th January 2001
The next wing report will be 8th January 2001
All MSE's for December must be in my hands by 4th January 2001 (CMDR's Only!

BG Ace Pilot League
The ISD Challenge title of Ace Pilot is currently held by CPT Brandon of Cyclone Squadron! He will be defending his title against MAJ TopDawg and COL Jack! Good luck to all competitors and may the best man win!

Inferno CMDR receives Silver Star!
For his length of service as, and dedication to Inferno Squadron, COL Manitsas has been awarded the Silver Star of the Empire by VA Jarak! Many congratulations to him, a well deserved award!

Cyclone CMDR to step down
CPT Brandon, the most successful Cyclone CMDR of recent times is to step down shortly due to a loss of net connection and an increase in Real Life work early next year. The position will be open to applications and will be decided within the first week of the new year! As we're all on leave those that want to apply have plenty of time to think about applications! Until a new CMDR is chosen, the A-CMDR will be FL/LCM Kyle Katarn/Cyclone 2-1 (Kyle.Katarn@isdchallenge.org). I'm looking for someone with the enthusiasm and dedication that CPT Brandon has to keep the squadron running at least to the same level as it is now - I don't want the squadron slipping back as it was before so make sure you have the time and energy to devote to it!
