Fleet Manual: The Fleet Manual v5.0 pre-1 is complete. This version contains all of the material from the 4.0 version with only minor changes, with a different design and a database to store the data. Any and all comments or suggestion are most welcome at sco@emperorshammer.org, however please hold reports of inaccuracies in the ship data other than in the descriptions.
The Fleet Manual v5.0 pre-1 is viewable at http://sco.ehnet.org/fleet-man/. I'm looking at making a downloadable version available shortly.

High Score Anomalies

Due to a previously undiscovered bug in the XWA Pilot File BSF form, some pilots have received undeserved high scores if their CMDR was clumsy and uploaded the wrong pilot file. The form has been updated to fix this.
If you notice any strange high scores (like high scores for mission 6 when there are only 5 missions in the battle), please report them to Sector Admiral Kawolski.

Striker escapes Rebel jail

After three weeks of captivity, Tactical Officer Fleet Admiral Striker managed to escape from Rebel forces, after the hijacking of his shuttle earlier this month. Torture didn't manage to get a word from the Sith Battlelord, who suffers anyway from many injuries. Medical staff has taken care of the Fleet Admiral since his return, he will probably need several weeks to recover.

Due to the holidays, there will now be no significant DB events occurring before the new year. Also, due to the season and my own line of work, my time constraints are exceptionally high at this time of year, and thus I am announcing a semi-leave, effective immediately.
I will be returning to the Iron Throne in full leadership capacity on either January 1st or 2nd, 2001 . . . Until then, I will be online at least periodically (and taking some time to catch up on mails that have accumulated these last few days), although neither my presence nor prompt replies can be assumed. I expect to be able to handle any situations of importance, should they arise -- but nonetheless, Master Torquemada is hereby empowered to act with the authority of the Iron Throne, if he finds it necessary, until I formally announce my return.
As I know many others are occupied or on leave between X-Mas and New Years, as well, I'll take the opportunity to give Dark Council members and Summit Leaders alike a break for what I consider to be a "vacation week" at the close of a successful year. The Holocron for the week of December 17th will be distributed shortly, however there will be no Holocron for the week of December 24th. Brotherhood leaders are not required to submit -- and nor do I want to see -- regular reports for that week. For Dark Council members, this week's news may be bundled into next week's announcements, and Clan Summits may consider their EH CoL recommendation lists to be in lieu of a regular report.
In the first week of January, we will resume our reign of terror . . . Until then, my Dark Brethren, enjoy the holidays, and Go in Darkness. :)

>The Avenger Thursday Night Training competitions, open to the fleet and the DB, are being held on the IRC channel #avenger from 8pm-11pm EST for both XVT-XWA. LoCs to winners, as is the DFC to the overall winner. JK too? Not yet.

Storm- As you know CPT Jae K`Sunis has stepped down from Storm CMDR no one needs to apply as I have already gotten APPS for the position I expect to make a decision on this this week and the new CMDR will be in place by next report.

Wing Commander’s Comments-
The Count Stands at 33. This pulls us even with Wing I this is something that happened at least a week sooner than I had expected I once said shortly after taking command of Wing II I would do my level best to see that this wing caught up to Wing I well I by no means did it by myself. I did a small part but a lot of the work goes to the Wing II members this is an awesome Achievement Pilots now we go from here to filling the whole wing up.
