WC's Rant!:
This month on cheating! Please, DON'T do this! Whatever the short term benefits may be as regards high scores, etc, if you cheat you WILL get caught, and you WILL pay the penalties for doing it. The penalties are high, and include being busted all the way back down to SL, loss of position, all medals accrued, loss of FCHG rank and scores, and being unable to earn FCHG points in the future. It's not fun, people, please DON'T DO IT. If you can't complete a battle for a competition then fly it with Invul and unlimited ammo on, DON'T CHEAT.

WC on Leave
I'm on leave starting from now until Monday afternoon GMT. This is so I can have some quality time with my hunny and go watch Episode II. Whilst I'm away, CMDR/COL Beef of Thunder will be in charge of the Wing, so please address any pressing concerns to him. Please continue to cc me on all Wing communications and I'll respond to everything when I get back!

New Competition: Wing X vs. Wing XVIII
We've been offered a friendly competition vs. Wing XVIII. This is slightly complex, so I'll explain as best as I can. Any questions, ask! This is a competition to be fought out over 2 rounds. The first round is TIE, using Free TIE 178 and the second is XWA, using Free XWA 35. Both these missions need to be flown and sent to your CMDRs for processing by 21st May. CMDRs I'll be in touch with you shortly about how to do your scoring for this comp. :) Both missions are attached. There will be an IS-SW for the top scoring pilot in EACH Free mission, and an IS-BW for the second highest scoring pilot in EACH Free mission up for grabs.

For your information, the high score on the TIE mission is 73,742; the high score on the XWA mission is 13,751.

New COM
Our new COM is none other than former BGCOM RA Mell! Mell has a history on board the Challenge as Cyclone CMDR and more recently as Typhoon Flight Member. He'll be buying the beers for the next month. :P
