A tall man in a
black pinstripe suit walked slowly into the dimly lit room, with his thumbs
hooked in his pockets. Running his hand along the gold watch chain he wore, he
checked the time. His lips were upturned in a constant sneer, with a fedora
pulled down to cover half his face. Sitting down behind an oak table, the two
thugs who followed him in took up positions around the door. Cleaning off the
small gold starburst pin on his suit, he opened the outer jacket and looked at
the assembled people.
A large lizard
like man sat in a black suit, wearing a red tie and black fedora. He had a small
violin case beside his desk (Capo Bastone "The Violin" Randrowan). To his
right sat a man who looked as though he was some sort of large breed of moose. A
curious combination locked in a dark pinstripe suit (Caporegime "The Moose"
Mage). The next man over was an average looking guy with large glasses -
obviously one of the computer oriented variety (Capodecima "The Code" Taralis).
Off to his right, a regal looking man - meaning, he had an impeccably sharp
suit, and was studded with more bits of fine jewelery than many would see in a
life time, and shone like hell fires most of the time - sat in an Armania suit
(Caporegime "Odin" Stone). The next one stood out in the group - a female.
Rare enough in the Mafia, this one had come all the way to the top. She wore a
stunning and shiny red dress, complete with red lipstick and her hair tied back
in a tight bun (Capodecima "Chrissy" DarkC). The next one looked young. He
was new to The Family, and was easily five or six years younger
than everyone. A master of his neighborhood younger than anyone had yet
seen (Caporegime "The Kid" Solo).
"Right
then. Capo Bastone Randrowan, you had something to report,
did you not?" The man who just walked in, the Capo Criminali - Don
Janson - said in a low, raspy voice.
"Mesa has
somethin' to report, yup yup!" The tall lizard-man with the violin case
said. "Mesa boys in the Vortex prefacture has been sayin' that wesa got some
Intrepid and Vanguard boys movin' in on oursa territory, boss!"
"They've been
getting pushy in those regions lately." The Moose said, in a sneerish voice. "I
say we teach 'em a lesson, see?"
Purring, Chrissy
spoke up.
"I can send some
of my girls in and distract them if you want, Wrench." she said with a sly grin.
"Yes. I think we
can start there... Code, you think you can help them get it?" Don Janson spoke,
raspy.
"Uhm, I think I
can do it." The Code said, adjusting his thick glasses.
"Good." Don
Janson spoke again. "And give Boomo a call too, in the Vortex Prefacture (The's
Gilad, for anyone who knows his JK2 style. :P)... he'll get you
explosives."
Nodding, the
group stood. The Gungan (Bastone Randrowan), picked up his violin case and
smiled - moving to the shuttle bay.
Adventures of
the Grey Wolf Mafia - Part 1 Concludes. Next week... The Code and Chrissy master
the first wave against the Intrepid Gang, and the Vanguard South Siders.

1) SCIV is now
over!
Well, we didn't
do quite as well as we should have - not by a longshot. But hey, there's always
SCV, right? We'll be back. :)
Congrats to the
other two ISDs and Avenger Squadron on a fabulous showing. Great work to you and
your pilots. :)
And a side note
- as I mentioned earlier - anyone who didn't participate and doesnt have a good
excuse can expect to be serving a double detail on the M/FRG
Phoenix.
2) MSE
Time!
Yes, it's
dreaded MSE time again! We're pretty much sorted out with everything and up to
date on our end this time, so CMDRs - send in your MSEs ASAP. Faster they get
in, faster I can get rewards out.
3) ImpStorm
continues!
Yes, today (or
something. :P) the two largest and best armed task forces get together... the
SSSD Sovereign and the SSD Avenger (plus numerous support ships) meet in
glorious combat. Should be good for us... the ASF actually has a shot in hell of
winning this one. If the two sides wipe eachother out in this battle or the next
several they meet in, we could simply walk in and sweep the board. If that
doesn't happen, we frankly don't have alot of chance. (Simply said, we can only
take them if we get all of our forces together to pick on the
SSDs.)
4) Wolf Squadron
tryouts!
Continue! I've
got two submissions so far, plus I know that there are several other people
still flying. :)

1 = XWA, Flight 2 = XvT, Flight 3 = JK/JK2. It's open to ALL members of the
Grey Wolf (yes, even you Az. :P). I'll fill the JK/JK2 Flight when I get the
other two filled, since thats going to take some extra work.

SCIV was kind of
rough on us, but we'll be back. Shake it off, and get ready to kick some

I'm working on V.2, like I said earlier. So I'll clean them up, add/take
away some of them, then scan zip and post them. Then you can give me feedback.

Wolf Squadron -
Read the news bit up there, and if you're not sure what it is, check last weeks
report. #9 has all the info on it.
I'm going to try to get a competition going
(wing wide) with some other groups. You guys interested? Have any specific
targets in mind? :)
I'm working
on getting the Grey Wolf website back online, probably with Minos. Right now, I
have all the files and so on, I just need the Index.html done (b0b, how's
it coming? :P). After that, I'll have a new feature to add to it - a
Complaints/Suggestions form, which will be anonymous (w/ an option to add
your name to it). So we'll work on it. :P
