Having left the small
room where the meeting had just concluded, Don Janson walked through the dimly
lit halls of the ISD Grey Wolf amidst the wood panelling and red wallpaper. He
met up with a messenger half way to where he wanted to be who carried a message
from the ISD Vanguard "Syndicate."
"Don Janson! We just
got a message from the Syndicate, see?" He said in a nasal voice. Handing him a
small note, Don Janson nodded his aknowledgement and the messenger left.
The message was
simple... "The Syndicate is interested in a "Mutual business venture." When do
you want to meet."
"Louie!" Janson yelled,
to get one of his lackeys attention. The man, who looked more Italian than Super
Mario with a Pizza, ran over. "Get on the phones and call the Syndicate. Tell
them we'll meet in an hour."

Waiting in the Hangar
Bay amongst the EH Mafia's official Gang cars (Jetblack Mafia Detailed Shuttles
- picture to follow. :P), Don Janson waited with several of his highest ranking
members. Capo Bastone Hev "The Bat" Randrowan waited, with his violin case under
his arm. Caporegime "The Moose" Mage stood next to him, with Capodecima Devin
"The Code" Taralis, Caporegime "Odin" Stone, Capodecima "Chrissy" DarkC, and
Caporegime Thoams "The Kid" Solo. All were in their trademark outfits - the men
in black pinstripe suits, gold watchchains, fedoras. The women in red dresses.
Sure enough, three chrome-plated Z-95 Headhunters. The official gang car of the
Vanguard Syndicate. The men who climbed out were dressed in bright, loud Auroran
Prime T-Shirts (Think of them as the EH's answer to the Hawaiian shirt. :P),
Khaki shorts, and greased hair. It was time to meet...
Yes! Small change with
the fiction... we're forging an alliance with the Vanguard Syndicate.

2) Grey Wolf
Website!
Once MAJ
CrazyR2 gets back to me as to whether he'll be doing an Index.html for me, I'll
get the website back up at Minos. I have ALL the files from the website, save
for the Index. Stay tuned.
3) SCIV Scores
released!
Very poor
showing on our part. Congrats to the ISD Intrepid on their flagship title, and
to everyone who participated!
4) Wing XIII WC's
Own!
April = Odin
Squadron! Congrats!
May = (This
is based on the SCIV Standings, as per my spreadsheet) Odin Squadron
again!
Notes about
the ID Line addition: Each month is to be stated in ONE SINGLE LINE! Especially
for Squadrons like Tartarus and Odin who have several titles now.
So it should look like this:
-=Wing XIII WC's Own - April/May/June 2002=- (New one for each YEAR is
acceptable. Not each title. :P). Keeps it from getting immense.
I'll also be
using a spreadsheet similar to my SCIV Score Sheet to keep track of monthly
points. Highest scoring Squadron gets WC's Own.
5) New
Competitions!
A) Pilot of
the Week (PotW) - Each week, I'll select a pilot who has impressed
me through a combination of many things. IRC Activity, MB Activity, IWATS,
Flying, etc. For the week, that pilot will get the keys to the sister ship of my
personal craft. For one week per win, the pilot who wins will get to fly as my
Wingman in my K-Wings sister ship. (Unofficial. Won't be on the Database. :P).
You'll also get a shiny IS-SR, and the right to add that K-Wing to your ID Line
for one week. [K-Wing - ****]
B) Name the
K-Wing! - The K-Wing you guys get to compete for needs a name! Send
me your submissions, and we'll put a name on the ship. Winner gets an
IS-SR!
C) - Scholar
of the Week (SCotW) - The person who takes the most IWATS Courses
(and passes, of course. :P) gets the title of Scholar of the Week and a shiny
IS-SR!
D) - Squadron
of the Week (SotW) -As per my WC's Own system, the highest scoring
Squadron per week gets the title of SotW, and all pilots in the Squadron will
get an IS-SR.
Thats all I
can think of now. If anyone wants to start a competition, let me know and I'll
promote it for you. I'm like a white Don King. :P
What do you
guys say to a Grey Wolf Run on? I'll start it and so on, then I'll offer up
medals for participation - plus medals to the highest poster, best posts, and
maybe something else. E-mail me if you're interested. :)
Keep in mind
there are MANY ways to earn medals! If you do Graphics and stuff, send them to
me! I'll work out a system, and we can place them on the Grey Wolf website space
permitting.

Tryouts are
still being held! Just get your pilot files into me ASAP! People waiting for the
JK/JK2 flight, give me time to sort out the other two and then I'll get a ladder
up for you guys.

Squadron tryouts continue! I need everyone interested to get me their pilotfiles
for XvT-TC 5 (XvT Flight - Flight 2) or XWA-CAB 1 (XWA Flight - Flight 1) ASAP!
I'd like to announce the first entrance members in the next report! You can fly
both and send me both as a contingency if you want - in case you dont make one
flight you could still make the other. People waiting for the JK2/JK flight,
I'll get you a ladder ASAP for it.
I'd like to
get the GWCA running. Anyone willing to make us a website (Andrew, do you still
have the old files and stuff?), please mail ME ASAP. This time though, there
will not be any applications for Trainers. Wolf Squadron will do the training.
So I'll keep you posted.
Grey Wolf
website - I'm working on getting it running again. Once I get Index.html, I'll
post it to Minos. We'll add in fiction and graphics to the site, space
providing.
ANYONE who
wants to run a competition for ANYTHING, please mail me. I'll help you get it
set up and promote it to the wing - plus I can handle the medals for you, if you
wish. Open call - I'd like to see alot of competitions of ALL sorts going around
the ship. :)
