It have been a interesting week, a lot of promotions. With the resignation of Badlands and Roth last week we now only have one veteran commanders left. Aside from Gunman the entire command staff of the wing have changed this month.

Wing News

New Demon and Ghost Commanders

After long work reading and judging the applications and then a long wait for the FO to approve them we now have new CMDRs for both Demon and Ghost.

Congratulations to CM Hunter of Demon Squadron and to CPT Mark of Ghost Squadron!

Veteran CMDR receives promotion

Because of his continued loyalty and good leadership abilities our only veteran CMDR received a promotion to LC. Congratulations Lieutenant Colonel Gunman!

COM Promoted

Congratulations to Vice Admiral Darksaber!

New and only Archon on the ship

Congratulations and well done to CM Hunter who, having flown 87 battles so far this month, have earned the rank of Archon (1500 FCHG pts). This makes him the only pilot on the ship that holds this rank.

For his achievements Hunter was awarded a Silver Star of the Empire.

Demon gets free beer

Having handed in more than fifty BSFs this month Demon have won their month of free beer.

XvT/BoP Testers and Engineers Needed

That's right. I am looking for 2-3 testers and 4-5 engineers.

Requirements for testers:

have XvT/BoP and very good piloting skills
ability to test battles on Hard without problems
fast email response time
ability to test at least one battle per week

Requirements for engineers:

have XvT/BoP
XTM course passed
at least one mission/battle created
ability to test his own corrections
fast email response time
good XvTED knowledge and mission design skills

TCC:TIE sought

Following resignation of TCC:TIE, I herby open this position for applications:

Requirements:
1. have TIE95 and TIE Mission Design Course passed
2. be familiar with Tactical Database and Tactical Office procedures
3. have mission design skills and ability to lead team of testers and engineers
4. no HCI convictions
5. short email responce time
6. ability to work under high pressure
7. high online (IRC) presence (prefered)
8. member of Tactical Office (prefered)

IWATS Squadron Management 3

The third version of the IWATS Squadron Management Course is now officially out. As I said in my previous reports, this is more of an update rather than a complete rework. This means that there isn't anything significantly new, but there is more information on things like the Fleet Standing Orders, Database procedures and the new CMDR Tour of Duty rule.

The test is not compulsory for present Squadron Commanders but they are highly encouraged to read through the notes. Pilots that were CMDRs in the past and are applying for a CMDR position at some point in the future, do not have to take SM/3, assuming SM/1 or 2 has already been passed.

Please note that the pass mark for the SM/3 test is 80% and copies of transcripts are not kept, unless you mail me beforehand.
