WING COMMANDER’S OWN

COMPETITIONS
A. The Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout! The competition will run for eight weeks. Elements will
include four custom TIE free missions, an XWA ladder and fiction and art categories. Also, the
winning squadron and wing in this event will be awarded the titles of COM's Own.
I’ve mailed around the third mission, which is due Sept 15th. I’ve heard quite a bit of chatter about
it, and I’m really bummed out that my new computer won’t let me play it, but I’m VERY pleased to
see so many pilots giving it a go, and for the high score even!

B. The Wing I vs Hope Wing comp has entered into testing and should be ready soon.
As I can no longer act as a tester, here’s my suggestion (don’t let more people fly it..for one!),
but keep it as it is for easy, and add in A-Wings for medium and Missiles for hard. Mike, Kronar
and Argon, you test it...if it seems challenging enough after those additions, let’s get this comp under
way!

C. I have submitted for a massive Wing I inter-squadron competition, which will pit you all against
each other, on all three Flight Platforms AND include an EASY fiction comp for those that can’t fly.
Stay tuned for further details. For those with nothing to do, you can help your squadron come up
with a list of 5 battles or missions for each game platform that are rated at least a 3.

Use any strength you might think you have...love of TC, Star Wars, second language..same internet
provider. Remember if you help someone and they actually remember to mention your name on the
assignment form, YOU get the MoI, not the FO!!

A. MSE’s and Reports
The Weekly reports are due no later than Monday of each week.
I have heard from everyone this week...so you can all have cookies with Kronar’s milk.

The MSE’s were received in a timely manner, as you no doubt realized from the mass of promotions
and medals that were handed out this week.

It’s not a mandatory meeting, but I might actually be able to show up now and then.

CT Skoogde is promoted to SL and assigned to Gamma.
