Wing News

1. I would like to congradulate Fury Squadron to making it to the finals of the Avenger supremacy competition. I hope that everyone will wish them luck in their match with Hunter, showing those Wing XVIII'ers who's boss.

2. BJ is still running, let's get out there and get some stuff done before the end of the month. I'd like to see if anyone is sending in any fiction or GFX entries, so if you are let me know on IRC or in an email if it tickles your fancy.

3. I will be switching email addresses soon, to xanderdrax@castleofconan.com. I will still be checking the one that appears on the roster at least until I get it changed there, and probably for a week or so afterward.

4. Operation: Phalanx shall be submited for approval within the next few days. Barring any changes, there will be five phases, each lasting a week starting on the 31st. In order they will be trivia, tactics, mission flying, fiction, and gfx. Also, there will be an RO taking place on the message board concurrent with phases 1-4 that will shape the story.

5. My want to see citations is still in affect, so when you fly for non-comp activities, fly those battles that will earn your squad those citations.

6. The new policy reguarding the name format of all pilot files in the wing is now in full enforcement. It is as follows: 

When you name a pilot file from now on, name it pin platfrom-type number.tfr or .plt. For example, if I submited TC Battle 24, the file name would be #270 TC-TIE 24.tfr. This will serve to make sure that confusion with files is elminated, and make BSFing easier for commanders and myself.

I want all commanders to implement this on the squadron level as well, and keep on your pilots.

7. I will be checking all squadron sites in the wing starting September first. If I do not see banner free, up to date sites, I will be removing some officers in accordance with standing TC policy. Again, if you need help, don't be afraid to ask for it from me, either on IRC or in an Email.
