Wing News

1. As most of you know, you have a new WC, that would be me by the way =D. I hope that our association can be long and productive *insert everything said in welcome addrss here*. Thanks =D.

2. There is a new Wing website that can be found at http://xix.tiecrops.net/. This means that all the squadron commanders now will be seeing the heat from me to get updated homepages up for their squads. It's an EH reg, and I plan on enforcing it. If you want you job, you have to get this done. If you cannont find help in your squad to do this, then you may contact me by email. Sucks having an Internet Office Assistant for a WC don't it =P.

3. I'd like to see a good performance in BJ this month, so get out there and fly stuff.

4. Pending competition approval, Operation: Phalanx will be starting sometime in the comming week. This will be a multi event, multi phase competition that will be driven by an integrated plot. Phases will have some continuity with the ones that follow, and a Run On will be held on the message board concurrent with all phases.

5. As a CMDR, I liked seeing citations. As a Wing Commander, I really like to see citations. I think that citations show that a squad is not only active, they are active together. CMDR's, if your pilots are going to be flying battles for FCHG points, I would like you to endevour to have them fly the same missions to get those citations.

6. There will be a new policy reguarding the name format of all pilot files in the wing. When you name a pilot file from now on, name it pin platfrom-type number.tfr or .plt. For example, if I submited TC Battle 24, the file name would be #270 TC-TIE 24.tfr. This will serve to make sure that confusion with files is elminated, and make BSFing easier for commanders and myself. I want compliance on this rather quickly, and pilot files will be denied if not formated properly after a one week probationary period.
