Ship News
-CM Keiran Laserlight is the new Vortex CMDR.
-Still no submission for the GW Cup Comp.
-VA Sarin Khameir is on leave for the next six days for air assault school.
-There is a new Comp coming between our ship and Wing III, I'll fill you in when it's approved.
-MAJ Yoda will be resigning this week as Odin CMDR, the replacement has been selected.
-The first round of GW Top Gun has concluded, MAJ Choosh held the high score. Second round submissions are due by midnight Thursdays.

ASF News
-The new Wing XIV and XV Wing Commanders have been chosen, congrats to COL Gidda and COL Nightmare. Heh, but I've got the seniority :P

Tie Corps News
-The new FO has been appointed, congrats to former ASF BGCOM and GW COM, FA Cyric
-Project Shield has been complete and implimentation is currently in progress, as a result the Mission Compendium is somewhat un-available.
-The IO is still searching for an IOA, see the TC News Page for details.

"How long will Gilad last?" Comp
Deadline: February 4th, 2004

Description: As our last 4 Wing Commanders have lasted less than the 4 month minimum, we are going to guess on how long our new WC MAJ Gilad will last in the position. Guesses will be sent to CPT Choosh (mchenry@jefnet.com), who will award a IS-BR to the closest guess. If Gilad is still WC past 2/04/04 (end date) He will get the medal.

Wolfpack Iron Star Competitions:
FCHG Comp- For the pilot who gains the most FCHG Points in a month
CR Comp- For the pilot who gains the most CR Points in a month
Wolfpack Ace- For the pilot who earn the most Pilot of the Week awards
Trivia Comp- For the pilot who answers the most Trivia questions in a month
Graphics Comp- For the pilot who submits the best graphics in a month
Beat the COM- For the pilot who beats the COM in head-to-head MP

ASF Racing Tournament Competition:
Deadline: September 29th, 2003

Description: A racing tournament where each squadron is a racing team, we'll use #ehcoc for the !dns command, then e-mail DS (Darksaber@ehnet.org) the results. The tournament would be point based, As Thus: No. of Points per Place Racers First Second Third 2 to 4 1 0 0 5 to 6 2 1 0 7 to 8 3 2 1 The pont total will decide the winning team which would get a trophy to display on their squadron website. Naturally, one of the racers would have to email DS (Darksaber@ehnet.org) the results of the race, listing the pilots, and what they placed so squadron, and individual scores can be tabulated. Design Snij Competition
Deadline: September 21st, 2003
Description: Design CM Snijglau. Although Snijglau is one of the most prolific member of the ASF no one know's anything about him. The goal of this comp is to make a graphic depicting Snij, anyone participating in this competition is encouraged to look up Snij's INPR and to speak with him as much as possible so as to get hints of his character. DS and Snij will decide the winner submissions to be sent to DS and Snij. IS-GR to winner.

BoB and Freds Month of War
Description: MP Competition controled by Battlestats against other Clubs. GW Top Gun Pilot Competition
Deadline: 11/7/2003
Description: Pilots are to fly a mission each week as selected by the comp coordinators. Competition is to run for an approximate total of 8 weeks. Medals are to be issued after each round to the winners and runners up. During each week, pilots who participate will gain points towards the end of the comp. At the end of the competition a final tally of all points will be assessed and the overall winners (1st and 2nd places) will be issued their respected medals. A rules section and awards web page will be posted by the comp coordinator at the Odin squadron website. (comp was previously drafted by me and reviewed by the Ships COM and BGCOM and given the okay)


Wing Commander's Forum
Well folks, another week down. I'm pleased with the increase in activity. We currrently have two SL in the wing that I want promoted to LT, but first they have to do something to earn the promotion, simple, a fly single mission, complete an IWATS Course or fill out your INPR. I've got a comp against Wing III that will hopefully start on Monday. And lucky for you one of the missions involved is also the mission you need to fly for GW Top Gun! Dual Credit again! MAJ Choosh informs me that the mission is pretty hard, good luck. I STILL don't have any submissions for the GW Cup Comp, you have until the 1st. REMINDER FOR CMDRS: You must CC Cyric (jroscoe@comcast.net) and FOA Reaper Paul (reeves99@ntlworld.com) with your WSRs. Anyway, I'm going to see George Carlin tomorrow night, I'll let you all know how it goes... Keep up the good work and Long Live the Grey Wolf
