- WING NEWS -

Greetings everyone and welcome to my first report as Wing XIV Commander! As you guess the big new of the week is that I'm the new Commanding Officer of the awesome Fighter Wing of the ISD Intrepid, remember that I'll be paying drinks for all Snakepit pilots for other two or three days so take some time to visit the Intrepid canteen if you still haven't done so!

Bad news, two good officers and veterans of the Intrepid just left us: MAJ Blade and LCM Ibraim Gaunt transferred to Reserves. Good news, they have been replaced by two Sub-Lieutenants fresh from Daedalus Platform so I ask you all to give a warm welcome to SL Squall and SL Dark Mike who just joined Krayt Squadron. I'm sure that CPT CrimsonFury will take care of them :-)

Mine wasn't the only important appointment of the week. Congratulations to CM Ernest Penfold, the new Asp squadron Commander. Penfold now has the hard task to revive a squadron currently down to only 3 pilots but I know him well from the Dark Brotherhood and I cant tell you that Penfold is a very good officer. I wouldn't be surprised to see Asp kicking some asses next month.

Talking about new CMDRs, the position of Squadron Commander in Diamondback isn't open to applications. A new CMDR has been chosen already and we are waiting for the Flight Officer approval. Oh yes, we have a new Flight Officer too! Congratulations to FA Cyric on his well deserved promotion. COL Reaper will serve as new FOA, CMDRs remember to CC him your Weekly Squadron Reports (Paul.reeves99@ntlworld.com).

Returning to our Wing, right now there aren't big competitions but starting from Monday we will have two Multiplayer Ladders for XvT and XWA. I'll be posting full details as soon as Training Officer approves the competitions. Just to let you know, this competition will last one month and there will be some rules that will favour team work.

Also, I wish to personally commend CM Spade for winning 5 LoCs in a week, CM Penfold for completing JavaScript IWATS course with a very good score and LCM Foxtrot who received a Medal of Instruction for helping SL Dark Mike during his training. Well done guys!

One last, thing: maybe some of you don't know me very well so I wish to point out that my office is open 24/7 and I'm ready to answer to all your TC-related questions. Mission Compendium going offline

 Final preparations to release Project Shield require taking mission compendium offline and updating all links. Soon you will start seeing .ehm files instead of .zips. Do not download them, cause you won't be able to instal them. As soon as I will finish update of all link, we will release software and you will play battles again.

  3. I finally got time to award the EHCOC Banner Comp Medal. An IS-GR goes to CPT Abel Malik. Congratz!
  4. Also the Bot is working again. I got today a mail again!
