Wing XIX Report #4 - 9/13/03
This report
combines the information that would have been included in this weeks
report with this weeks stuff. By the time I had time to write last
weeks report, it was not really worth sending out a report again, as
I was just going to wait about half a week to send out another one.
So here is all that stuff that you were feeling making a void in
your life =D.
Wing
News
1.
Operation: Phalanx is crawling along. I've gotten
zero entries for Phase II, and low participartion in Phase I and the
RO. This qualifies as bad. People, go participate
in this competition, there are medals to be had, and now an OPS to
award them. The crux of thigs is this: If I dont' see
participartion, I will be hard pressed to make myself create comps
of this nature in the future. No comps = no
medals.
2. The biggest news
story today has to be the resignation of High Admrial Priyum Patel from his position of Flight
Officer and from the EH. For those of you that don't know, Pri is
the guy that basicly runs the TC for us, and keeps all the roster
stuff like promo's flowing. He's been our FO since early 2001, and
has done a tireless job of keeping the chaos that is our corps in
some semblence of order. I know that I speak for all the members of
the TC when I say he will be missed. Though we can take solace that
he will still be watching over us from the HCI
;p.
3. BJ is
clunking along again this month, and I have seen a few things come
across my desk inditacting that entries are being sent it. For those
of you that have send in stuff and are wondering what else you can
do, PARTICIPATE IN OPERATION PHALANX!
I'm all right now, really.
4. Since
the MSE's that I got were finally compiled into a WSE, Anthol and I
will be reviewing your CMDR's requests and getting those promos and
medals out in the next few days.
