Ship News
-More recruits! Vortex Squadron is full, when's the last time you've seen that? The ship is up to 56 members, great work!
-Welcome COL Drax Remlinger, LC Drake Jensen, SL Blackmule, LCM Athur Knight, and SL Wilq Fastclaw
-I've created a Comp to create a new banner for the wing, I have one entrant so far, since I'm a little late announcing it I'm going to extend the deadline by a week.
-Grey Wolf Top Gun has resumed, I expect it to be extended, more to come on that.
-MSEs are done with the exception of a few pilots, I need to speak with their CMDRs their recommendations
-Congratulations to Tartarus CMDR, Chrissy on her promotion too Lieutenant Colonel, well deserved! Also congratulations to CPT Kael Malahk, LCM Vance Blackguard and LT Wilq Fastclaw

ASF News
-Darksaber has returned from his leave that I don't think too many people knew about.
-COL Nightmare is working on the the ASF Chronicles, a Flash Animation on the ASF, he needs other Flash Artists, Voice actors and Writers for future episodes. Your's truely will be featured in an episode ;p See Nightmare's latest Report for details onn what to do.
-The Vanguard and Intrepid are facing off against the Sovereign in the Beer Cup, best luck to them I guess ;p
Tie Corps News
-AD Pel tried to resign, but changed his mind. The TCBG withdrew from IS, but as far as I understand they're back in and Imperial Storm is resuming, I don't expect it to take much longer, don't expect us to have any combat, the Sov is running for the hills. (They fear the Wolf! And the rest of the ASF I guess ;p)
-LC Styles is the new FOA
-They're still looking for a new IWCOM
-The XO is looking for people to design him a new site
-VA Sickman is looking for someone to build a new ISD Vanguard homepage
-New patches have been released for TIE, XvT and BoP

Crusader Easter Egg Hunt

Description: As some people know by now, my (Vladet Xavier's) last few reports have had some kind of 'easter egg': something that is hidden and can be found/unlocked (i.e. a hidden link to a certain picture, something extra added to an ID line, fake links, etc). The first pilot to discover and e-mail me the easter egg will receive an IS-BR for their efforts.
"How long will Gilad last?" Comp

Description: As our last 4 Wing Commanders have lasted less than the 4 month minimum, we are going to guess on how long our new WC MAJ Gilad will last in the position. Guesses will be sent to MAJ Choosh (mchenry@jefnet.com), who will award a IS-BR to the closest guess. If Gilad is still WC past 2/04/04 (end date) He will get the medal.

GW Top Gun Pilot Competition
Deadline: 11/7/2003
Description: Pilots are to fly a mission each week as selected by the comp coordinators. Competition is to run for an approximate total of 8 weeks. Medals are to be issued after each round to the winners and runners up. During each week, pilots who participate will gain points towards the end of the comp. At the end of the competition a final tally of all points will be assessed and the overall winners (1st and 2nd places) will be issued their respected medals. A rules section and awards web page will be posted by the comp coordinator at the Odin squadron website. (comp was previously drafted by me and reviewed by the Ships COM and BGCOM and given the okay)
Wing Commander's Forum
As I mentioned above, the Three Wing Brawl against Wings II and XI has concluded...needless to say it wasn't pretty for us and I'm disappointed. We only had two pilots participate and I want to commend Keiran and Yoda for atleast giving it a shot. As for the graphics section of it we had no participants, to quote FA Ender mBind, who judged the graphics section, "On them Grey Wolf bums: Oi! You can do better then nothing at all!:P" I've seen all of the graphics for the comp and some of them were just something someone made in paint and tried to make it look like some Star Destroyers fighting some Rebel Ships. ;p Anyway, our wing earned three points in the competition, compared to Wing II's 132 points, which earned them the win. I want to try and run a few small comps within the wing and stop focusing on comps against other wings until Supremacy Comp. I was thinking about running a few one battle high score comps to build up some activity, if you have any suggestions or ideas, email me and let me know.
And remember! DON'T GET ELIMINATED! :P
