Ship News
-At the prodding of VA Sarin, I name Vortex Squadron WC's Own for October 2003, as they won all seven of Sarin's ISs. Vortex Squadron Members may display this in their IDLines.
-I still only have one entrant for the new Wing Banner Comp, it ends on Monday, so I'm going to cut the extention short and say if I don't get another submission BY Friday, I will declare the entrant the winner.
-Welcome back MAJ Z'Harm Kelh Gasu'lk! The ship is up to 57 with a few more pilots on their way!
-Congrats to the Boss (Sarin) on his recent promotion to First Lieutenant in the US Army.
ASF News
-Very Little, DS came back from his sudden leave and released a month's worth of reports.
-The ASF Chronicle Episode 1 Part 2 has been released, check it out here: http://www.minos.net/~nightmare/ The Grey Wolf will be freatured in episodes 5 and 6 I'm told.
Tie Corps News
-The Big Boss (Cyric) is on leave for a well earned vacation to New Orleans...tee hee...
-CA:TAC Resigned, Mike's looking for a replacement. The word from my folks in the TAC is that he's taking preference for people already in the TAC Office.
-XvT-C 28 has been unlocked as it required a patch that the SCO didn't have, but now does. Fly it.
-Imperial Storm has ended, the Sov took the easy way out, in my opinion they were running from us. Anyway, I don't know about you, but I expected this. IS: V is in the works.

Crusader Easter Egg Hunt

Description: As some people know by now, my (Vladet Xavier's) last few reports have had some kind of 'easter egg': something that is hidden and can be found/unlocked (i.e. a hidden link to a certain picture, something extra added to an ID line, fake links, etc). The first pilot to discover and e-mail me the easter egg will receive an IS-BR for their efforts.
"How long will Gilad last?" Comp

Description: As our last 4 Wing Commanders have lasted less than the 4 month minimum, we are going to guess on how long our new WC MAJ Gilad will last in the position. Guesses will be sent to MAJ Choosh (mchenry@jefnet.com), who will award a IS-BR to the closest guess. If Gilad is still WC past 2/04/04 (end date) He will get the medal.

GW Top Gun Pilot Competition
Deadline: 11/7/2003 (Extended)
Description: Pilots are to fly a mission each week as selected by the comp coordinators. Competition is to run for an approximate total of 8 weeks. Medals are to be issued after each round to the winners and runners up. During each week, pilots who participate will gain points towards the end of the comp. At the end of the competition a final tally of all points will be assessed and the overall winners (1st and 2nd places) will be issued their respected medals. A rules section and awards web page will be posted by the comp coordinator at the Odin squadron website. (comp was previously drafted by me and reviewed by the Ships COM and BGCOM and given the okay)
Wing Commander's Forum
Well another week down, nearly all squadrons were active this week, can I have some activity from all squadrons next week? Please? On to my next point, I want all Sub-Lieutenant to complete their requirements for LT, there's no excuse for you to be SL any longer than 2 weeks. It's easy fly a battle (30 minutes Max), complete an IWATs (Around 10 minutes on the smaller ones) or make up something for your INPR (It'll take you 10 minutes max, just depending on how detailed you get). I don't want to see any SLs in this wing, I want LTs and up! Next point, CMDRs, two Squadrons still need websites and one squadron's website doesn't work, look into this immediately! I know the Wing Webpage is messed up currently, but there's something wrong with the databases, not even the IO people know what's wrong, I think they're looking into it though. Next, recruitment, we're beating on 60's door, and to quote VA Sarin, "Our ship is at 56 pilots. ... If this ship can fill her roster, I will award every member of the Wing a Bronze Star (if it kills me and the OPS)." I don't know about the rest of you, but I could use another BS. Anyway, here it is 5 am (No rest for the wicked), so I'm going to get this over with. Long live the Grey Wolf, Go Chiefs! and DON'T GET ELIMINATED!!!
