Oh i think I'm in trouble, I've had a really busy two weeks and didn't do a report last week.***~Wing Commander's Rant~***
To everyone in the wing, please accept my apologies but sometimes Real Life needs to take priority.
On a good note, activity has been quite high lately so i am really proud of the lot of you, so keep up the good work!!!
*** ~Wing News~***
*Inferno CMDR Retires*Unfortunately this week our Inferno Commander, CM Quincy has retired due to Real Life.
We are all sorry to see you go Quincy, and we wish you the best of luck in that big wide world out there.
*Inferno CMDR Position Open to Applications*
Inferno Squadron Commander is open for applications following the retirement of CM Quincy.
Applicants must:
1) Serve a minimum of 4 months in the position
2) Have Passed SM/3 (Previous time spent as CMDR with a pass in SM/2 is acceptable)
3) Have an E-mail response time of 24-36 hours
4) Hold the rank of LT Commander or higher
5) Familiarity with TIE (all platforms a bonus)
6) High IRC presence
7) Ability to work in a team
8) Be Creative
9) HCI convictions listed if any
In Addition,
-Write Weekly Reports
-Write Monthly Squadron Evaluations on time
-Fly a min of one battle per week
-Any other regulations found in the Training Manual
It is also suggested you mention any other skills you may have, including Mission Creation, Fiction Writing, Graphics Design & HTML.
Applicants must write a brief summary of what they would do with the squadron, any changes and improvements that they would make and ideas for future competitions.

*Tempest FL3 Open to Applications*
The FL3 Spot in Tempest Squadron is now open to applications.

*Tempest Vs Razor*
Tempest Squadron is going to do battle with Razor Squadron of the IW.
Best of luck to Tempest and we know you will thump the IW'ers into sticky stuff!!!
Surprisingly the mission is TIE-FREE 222, so with Rover flying they should have no problems destroying Razor.
*Loor's Departure and Promotion*
In sad news this week Loor has left us to take command of the Corporate Division.
We wish him the best of luck and congratulate him on his promotion to Vice Admiral.
*MAJ Stuarts Promo Prank*
As written by CPT Alexi Stukov.
The Challenge's cantina was full today, pilots, officers and other random background extras milled around, socializing and drinking large quantities of alcohol. Alone in a corner sat Stuart, gripping a carrot smoothie in one hand while he worked furiously to finish his nearly late report.
"Hrm..." grumbled Stuart, "Curse all those amazing pilots, all this activity is making my job hard."
Stuat was so busy with his report he didn't notice the rumbling sound in the distance. His smoothie rippled each time. The sound got closer and closer, louder and louder. The cantina fell into a hushed silence, as the sound came steadily closer. Several people began murmuring in fear and confusion. Some began to slowly push their way towards the doors.
By now the noise was almost deafening, and soon a panic erupted in the people, scrambling out of the cantina. Only the few bravest remained inside, refusing to abandon their hard earned beverages. But Stuart remained completely oblivious to this. Taking a sip from his drink, he continued working.
Suddenly, a 30 foot tall monster burst through into the cantina, sending bar stools flying. The massive creature was coated in a brownish-pink substance, dripping slowly towards the ground. Along it's forehead in bold yellow letters was the word 'SPAM'. Several Thunderians rushed towards the Spam Monster, firing round after round into the creature. Letting out a throaty laugh, the monster swiped the ground, sending them flying. COL Beef was flung a dozen feet, landing directly on top of Stuart, spilling the smoothie all over Stuart and Beef.
Finally aware of what was happening, Stuart stood frozen, staring at the abomination. CPT Alexi charged at the monster, but was flicked aside, sending him crashing past Stuart. The monster turned towards Stuart and began lurching forward.
Beef stood up again, orange liquid dripping down his uniform, "Look what you've created!" Beef yelled.
"What did I do?" asked Stuart, completely shocked by the claim.
"All that spamming of the Message Board! It's gotten out of control! Now see what it's become! It's a monster! We must destroy it!"
Quivering with fear, Stuart watched as the monster lumbered closer. Realizing he must destroy the Spam Monster, he drew out his Giant Carrot and charged towards the monster, bellowing as he ran.
The Spam Monster swung at Stuart, who nimbly evaded the attack, and let loose a flurry of pokes. The monster, slightly agitated, furiously tried to hit Stuart, but was too slow. Each punch was avoided, and parried with several pokes.
Now driven to a rage, the Spam Monster yelled as loud as it could, momentarily stunning Stuart. In an instant, the Monster grabbed Stuart and stuffed him down it's meaty throat. Licking it's lips, it let out a contented belch. However, within an instant, the Monster's stomach began growling and the Monster groaned in pain. Soon, the Spam Monster began howling and suddenly exploded, sending slimy pieces of meat everywhere.
As the hail of spam died down, the Thunderians quickly ran over to where the Monster was. Completely covered it the disgusting meat, Stuart stood motionless, his features hidden from view. On top of his head was a MAJ rank badge.
Spitting globs of meat from his mouth, Stuart spoke, "I hate spam."
*Shortest Ever FCHG Race*
A 2 hour long FCHG Race was run by Thunder Squadron during the last week.
It was a hard fought battle, but in the end MAJ Stuart come out on top by only beating Beef (who was second) by a few points.
Stuart was awarded an IS-BW for this win, congrats to him and to everyone who took part.
*Recruitment*
If you haven't noticed the Challenge is in desperate need of pilots, get out there and ask your friends, your relatives, parents, grandmothers, dogs, i don't care, lets just get some people in here.
I am offering a ISM per recruit (Cadet and RSV's alike) and a PC per 5 recruits, so theres a chance for you to get lots of medals and to help the Challenge.
