Here is another Wing I "shortened" weekly report.

WC's Status
To compound the issue of the TIE Corps sites being down, my internet access will not allow me to access any sites, buddy lists, address books or signature files.
This has been going on since about Friday but after checking my phone cables I think I might have fixed it....although why when the line from the computer to the phone is bad, it affect the internet access, I dunno......

Wing Status
It's looking pretty grim....activity is at an all time low.
A cheap attempt at getting people to at least email has resulted in only the hard corps mail posters responded.
That means that out of 36 or so people in the wing, 30 refuse to participate or are unable.
Perhaps I should resign as Wing Commander before Proton and the FO have to shut this wing down?

Competitions
1) Deathmask Competition
This is a ship wide competition that makes use of ALL activity, flying, writing, graphics. The beauty of it is, is that ANYTHING you do counts!
Here are some of the "suggested" battles:
The SSSD Sovereign Battle of the Month competition for October:

TIE-TC Battle 185
XvT-TC Battle 17
XWA-TC Battle 9

Pilots have until Oct. 31 to submit their pilot files. All entries for
this event should be sent to AD Proton at hullbreach@warpmail.net. (Note:
Flying these battles counts extra for the Deathmask Units competition as
well, even more reason to fly them. Make sure you send your entries also
to deathmask@warpmail.net so you will receive DU credit for them.)

Winner of each division will receive an Iron Star-Gold Wings, and so on.

2) Whimpering Winds
This is the current Wing I competition, which pairs squadron against squadron, in an attempt to create more activity and help a squadron earn Wing Commander's Own.
The original deadline for the first set of comps is October 15th.

3) Sovereign Bombing Run Blast
Competition has concluded with Admiral Proton and his aides compiling the results.

TC News
According to a message from GA Ronin and reported by MAJ Pryde things are soon to turn for the better with the TC website. A host has been acquired and information has been uploaded...only a few switches and details need to be completed.
