Wing Commander Rant
Welcome to back,
Well, I guess it would
be important to point out first thing that the Flight Officer is now back from
his LoA.
The other big news is
that LC Frey Gallandro has been promoted from Ravager CMDR to Wing XVIII WC.
Congrats Frey, good luck finding a good replacement for that pink and purple
wing banner. Applications for Ravager CMDR are open at this time. Typical
requirements, no recent HCI convictions, member of the DB, have passed SM/3.
Ravager pilots can send in pilot files directly to me for BSFing until I find a
new CMDR.
All CMDRs remember to
send in their Monthly Squadron Evaluations and Squadron of the Month point
totals in to me.
Welcome our newest
(old) member, LT Harr-Arr, back to Nemesis again from the reserves.
Anyone who owns the
game Homeworld should check the competitions center for a little gem I found
(thanks to CM Bryan for pointing this out to me).
Wing News
CMDRs and everyone else should
check out www.gysnet.com, it contains a
great database to show you what missions need to be flown by which pilots in
order for your squadron to gain citations. Citations bring prestige and honor
to your squad, and also earn your squad points under the Squadron of the Month
point system.

Kraken is entering the Sovereign
Squadron League. Good luck, and I would not mind seeing a few other squads give
it a go.

I want everyone trying to recruit.
We need quite a few more members in order to get the respect we deserve from
the entire fleet. It will help the wing’s image, help you get noticed by the
higher ups, and possibly earn you a medal for TK-2107’s Subjugator
Reinforcement competition (see below).

is a massive monthly ATF wide competition. The wing with the best results in
the 8 categories wins Wing of the Month. Get out there and fly for the wing. We
have one day left, so fly for the glory of Wing XX. I want to keep our winning
streak going.

Competition
A recruiting competition where you
get an IS-SR if you get the most active recruits into the wing. See COM’s

starts on March the first and lasts until March 15th. Send in ones

Well, we are doing pretty good
right about now. The activity is nice and evenly divided and we have five
stable, motivated squadrons running. Now lets try to get to full capacity. I’m

expect us to go easy on your new Wing.
