One Squadron Commander is to send me his CoL reccommendations. One Squadron Commander is to send me his MSEs, so I can reccomend those lovely Christmas medals .

Vortex CMDR is open to applications. I'd like to thank Keiran for his months of service as one of the best Squadron Commanders I have seen. Keiran, I salute you.

The Requirements Are :

Must have passed Sm/3 (or 2, if you date back that far ) Mail Reply / BSF processing of 24 hours Must have a decent IRC Prescence Active pilot with a decent FCHG and CR standing Ability to motivate a full squadron of 12 members Must be able to lead from the front in the upcoming Supremacy Competition Must be able to recruit for the whole wing

Applicants should include a list of their achievements, previous positions, and goals for the squadron, and respond to each above point seperately.

Again, tolerance of the GWSOoM is a must.

There is no minimum or maximum rank, though common sense would prevail...

You all know about the Monthly Iron Star competitions, since they have been featured in nearly all reports from CMDR to COM level for over a year now. I will remind you that they fall under the categories of :

Grey Wolf Ace - Pilot of the Month FCHG - Pilot who gains the most FCHG points in the month and CR - Pilot who gains the most CR in the month. Beat the COM - Dare I suggest that you will have better luck with Gilad than with Sarin? >:D Fiction - Best fictions sent in to the flags. Graphics - Ditto, but for pretty pictures instead of creative writings. Trivia - The pilot who answers the most trivia questions form the COM's report Recruitment - The pilot who recruits the most members to the ship.

There is a brand spanking new Wing Comp, idea by Caine (possibly inspired by my low low scores in every thing that I do) and its also run by Caine. What a d00de. All I have to do is submit the medals. The comp is called 'Let the Wookie Win'. Since he has already emailed the ship, I don't really have to give details. Of course, on the off chance that my Wing Report is the only thing you read each week (and lets face it - who could blame you?), the details are as follows.

Week 1 (10/01/2004-17/01/2004) TIE-FREE 137,180 XvT-FREE 65,66 XWA-FREE 1,2 Fly all the platforms that you want, and the worst (best) pilot wins an shiny. Be the worst overall to get a bigger shiny.

Yoda's Betting Shack is offering up the GW Flags team as warm favourites. Its rumoured that Flags are only qualified to fly desks (which aren't very mobile, or well armed, and in the case of Gilad, not there anymore - something to do with the Ship's reactor, Monks, and firewood.)

Vlad's Easter Egg Comp (was there ever a better competition?) continues, with version two. There may be more than one egg, or, indeed....no eggs (if he is feeling particularly sadistic towards Choosh). With harder eggs, funnier medal reccs and more rewards, the comp should get lots of participation.

Round One Scores : Gilad - 1 (found both the MoH and COL eggs) Yoda - 0 (only got the MoH...must beg for half points) Try to knock the flags off next round.

Tiamat is my Ace of the Week, not only did he fly lots of SP, he made me process a lot of it! According to my FCHG list, he gained over 100 FCHG points this week.

Cancel all social engagements in Feburary. OR Prepare less drastically for the Supremacy Competition (I just hope Joey did some of the work I'll be doing in Feb >:P , otherwise I may lose some potency)
