-Well! This week has been quite momentous for a number of reasons. First, let me welcome two more pilots who have found there way to Pi following MAJ Woody's arrival last Sunday! First off, welcome Lt. Macintosh, a long time TC member and good friend of mine and Seph's who's sure to fit in here just find. We're thrilled to have him and I'm sure he's going to be a great addition to Pi Squadron and the Colossus as a whole.
-Second, welcome Lt. Aule Jr., who comes to us from Inferno onboard the ISD Challenge. Within this week he has managed to complete 113 missions, an incredible stunt indeed, even beating our resident super-flyer MAJ Angel who put out 93 missions this week, which is still quite an impressive number to say the least :)
-But all's not bad for MAJ Angel, as he was announced today as the TC Battlegroups Squadron Commander of the Month by AD Mell Kerrigan for all his hard work in Omicron Squadron! Congrats are surely in order, and make sure to direct all your drink purhcases to the Major for the rest of the week ;)

-Now to direct your attention to a New Wing Competition! Starting tommorrow, for a period of two weeks each squadron will compete against each other to determine who will become a member of the Colossus Elite Squadron. The idea behind this competition is to obtain two steller pilots (one TIE ace, one XWA ace) from each squadron to form an all-star squadron, which will be used to face up against an elite squad of the pilot's own choosing.
Details for the comp are below! I highly encourage all members of this Wing to participate in this comp as best as they can, so that we can form a small, viscious fight force capabable of destroying small units wherever we may go :)
-Nu and Omicron have just gone to war with each other in the way of a competition! May the best squad win, and good luck to both of you in your fight for supremacy :)
-Remember, the first round of the SSL will end this week on the 19th! This is the biggest fleet-wide flying comp out there, and I'd love to see us have a strong representation of the Colossus in it! Do your best to get those missions done and to your CMDRs by the 19th, so that with luck some of the squads can progress to the next round :)
-Finally, I was awarded a PC this week for my continuing efforts towards restrenghting this wing. We've had a great start so far, and if we keep it up I'm sure that we can go a long way, and can definetly put the Collie on the map for being one of the best ships in the TC!
Colossus Elite Squadron - All members of Wing VIII will have a chance to compete for a spot in the Colossus Elite Squadron. This competition will begin on March 15th, and will end on the 1st of April. Every squadron has been assigned a TIE mission and a XWA mission for flying. The pilot who gets the best score in his squadron for each mission will become a member of the Colossus Elite Squadron.

An IS-SW will be awarded for the pilot who scores closest (or most over) the high score for his paticular mission. IS-BW for every other member who qualifies for the Colossus Elite Squadron (i.e. gets the highest score for the mission within their squadron. In the instance that a pilot gets the high score in his squadron for both TIE and XWA, I have already randomly predetermined which squads will use their TIE runner-up as their TIE representative and which will use their XWA runner up as their XWA representative.
Pilot of the Week - Each week I'll choose one pilot from Wing VIII who I believe has performed the best out of all the other candidates. Each weekly winner will then be thrown into the running to earn the title of WC's Protectorate. The winner who becomes the Protectorate will win a IS-SW, while all other PotWs will win a IS-BW

Beat the WC! - The Beat the WC comp calls upon any and all of the pilots of the ISD Colossus to challenge the WC (me) to a individual-based competition using an SP mission from any platform, a SP battle (within limits, no 30 mission Beef battle :P) or a MP match from any flying platform. If the challenger wins the individual match, they shall be awarded an IS-BW. The one who beats the WC the most throughout the month shall be awarded an IS-SW.

The Collies! - Pilots are encouraged throughout the month to submit any graphic, fiction or custom mission creation to both the Wing Commander and the Commodore. At the end of the month, the WC and COM will then award the best performing artist, writer and tactical mind with a Collie in the Arts, Literature, or Tactics. The winner of a Collie will be awarded an IS-SR, while the runner-up to the award shall be awarded an IS-BR
