WING COMMANDER'S CORNER

The new wing website has hit a blockage. I'm trying to figure out the best way to deal with, which is causing most of the delays.

A rather poor turn out for the Top Gun comp, seems only a few pilots think it's worth doing. If you don't fly then you won't move up the rankings and your squad will be denied valuable points. Ardeth hasn't come first in any of the 4 rounds yet is still first in the rankings, this is what it's all about. If you don't participate, then you can't win.

Round 4 was won by Atmos who gets a IS-SW, Ardeth was second and recieves a IS-BW. As a result Atmos moves into 2nd place and is now the only challenger to Ardeth's number one spot this month. Zys made it to 3rd place and while pretty much out of it for December, he's in with a very good chance of winning January's Top Gun.

In the new Squadron standings, Pi have taken over 1st place, and with 4 pilots in the top ten can anyone stop them?

Also, and this is quite interesting, the COM is technically ahead of both Nu and Omicron.......


TC-TIE #181 is the next battle, it's attached so no excuses.

Other than that, welcome to CPT Neko who takes over command of Eta from Phalk Sturm, and CMDRs don't forget to send in your CoL recommendations!!!

Emperor's Hammer 8th Anniversary Awards

As emailed from the Operations Officer...

January 7th is the EH Anniversary (8 years, hooya!) so that means, Awards! The Commendation of Loyalty is awarded all members of the Emperor's Hammer by the Fleet Commander or Executive Officer who have displayed tremendous dedication to the Fleet.

Each squadron commander can send any number of recommendations for awards to their respective Wing Commander. The Wing Commander chooses three (3) awards. Then these recommendations are forwarded up the chain of command to the respective Commodores and Battlegroup Commanders, making any possible corrections. Then the Battlegroup Commander collects the recommendations for his Battlegroup, and emails them to the Operations Officer, CC'ing the Flight Officer. Also, each Battlegroup Commander has the discretion to award a maximum of three (3) awards to his Flag Officers.

For Elite Squadrons (Avenger, Praetorian, Tau, and Omega), the commander can recommend up to one (1) award to their Battlegroup Commander (Omega - SovCOM, Avenger - ASF BGCOM), in the case of Praetorian and Tau Squadron, the CMDR will directly email the Operations Officer, also CC'ing the Flight Officer.
