WING NEWS:

1) CMDR/CPT Demon Yoda/Cheth has stepped down this week, to a Flight Leader position in Cheth, after RL has been limiting his time greatly. So.. I'm looking for a new Cheth CMDR. Some requirements for applicants:

*Needs to be able to RECRUIT for Cheth!
*Must be able to check and answer email at least 4 times a week.
*Must send weekly reports on time each week, MSEs each month.
*Must have completed Squadron Management II Course.
*Must be able to post/maintain a Cheth Squad page.

2) Squadron League Round 14 was announced earlier a few days ago, and now there's only a week left to fly for Round 14, the last round. TC-TIE 156 should be flown and send to myself, and your CMDR by the 30th. No late applications will be accepted! This is DY's Wrestling battle, so go to tiecorps.org after flying it, and give it a (good) rating! :p

3) The Mega Sov Competition is still going on.. Keep on flying, flying, flying everyone! Wing IV is getting way up there in points, but we still need to gain a bit more on Wing V :) Pilots who earn at least 100 points, get a Palpatine's Crescant! So far, MAJ Minkus and LC Reaper have earned their PC's... LCM Keiran and LCM Warchild are close though!

4) Announced earlier this week- Wing IV's new Doctor is LT Elvaron Starfire of Yod! (Hmm... all of our Doc's have come from Yod Squadron :p).

5) I plan on changing how the Wing Commander's Honor Guard competition works, as no matches have gone on for a long time! Basically, MAJ Minkus becomes Wing Overlord, and doesn't participate in WCHG matches. However, he can take challenges from the WCHG title holder or other pilots for the Overlord title. Understand? I'd really like to get WCHG matches going..

6) Yod and Teth Squadrons are currently very busy. Teth is taking on.. Sword Squadron as well as the Rat Pack, and Yod is facing Viper Squadron. Good luck to Teth and Yod!

7) Our members are dropping like flies lately!! We're down to 36 members (soon, 35). So, in light of this, we need to start recruiting. I'll be trying to help out Cheth, Lamed and Kaph.. but you everyone needs to help out too! If you don't now anyone in RL with TIE Fighter you can recruit, you can use the PLT Daedalus roster. Email me if you'd like a recruitment message sample.

4) Everyone- the Cheating policy gets a little stricter.

The following steps are put into effect to deal with what can only be referred to as an emergency situation.

a) To deal with the large volume of cheating (Article 407) cases, all cases will be heard by a special court consisting of the High Inquisitor or his designee and based on information provided by the Tactical Office. This court will not be bound by the restrictions on a Summary Court-martial and may impose any penalty up to and including expulsion as indicated below. Appeals of these cases will be directed immediately to the Fleet Commander for action. To emphasize, ONLY Article 407 complaints arising from falsified Pilot Files will be heard in this manner, and only for the duration of the current emergency.
b) Those convicted of cheating shall, upon the first offense, be stripped of rank, medals, and position and be reduced to the rank and position of cadet.
All their scores will be erased from the battle board, formerly awarded battle medals will be revoked, and such members will be banned from ever submitting a battle board score or holding a position in the FCHG again. Those convicted of a second offense will be banned from the fleet for life.

5) The BattleGroup Commander was chosen- VA Jarak, former COM of the ISD Relentless.

6) VA Wlodek and VA StarLion are the new CA:TACs.
