First of all I would like to thank Firefox (FF) for promoting me or at least feeling that I deserve it.
Finally I want to say that I never thought I would get this far in the EH. One final comment I have is that, I joined this club to have fun and even though sometimes you run into those who take it far to seriously, as long as we stick together this Ship and the two wings aboard her will be the finest in the fleet.

Zero point XvT pilot files

Thnaks to Commander Lord Linkan, the "problem" which leads to XvT pilot files with a zero score though the mission has been completed has been identified. When unlimited waves is enabled, no best score nor best time for the mission is recorded on completion, though a mission patch is delivered and the score obtained during the mission added to the total score. Due to the problems such a thing may bring to pilot file reviews, plus the fact the use of the unlimited waves option denatures the way the mission has to be completed, this option will be forbidden for submissions to the Battle Board. Pilot files with no best time recorded (ie played with unlimited waves) will be denied.

Two new X-Wing Alliance battles have been released today:
 TC-XWA Battle 11: Heroes of the Immortal: the Immortal, lost in Rebel space, makes her way home (by LCM Gidda).
 TC-XWA Battle 12: Imperium Deception: another part of the campaign against Warlord Darrius (by MAJ Jeffery Domm)
NB: as usual, raptor.nu is still down, thus this mirror of the compendium has not been updated.

Cadet roster

To help recruiters help members on Daedalus, a new [W] flag has been added for cadets on the Platform Daedalus Roster who already filled out the Squadron Assignment Request Form and is simply waiting for the Flight Office to assign him or her to a squadron. The best Cadets to try to recruit are those with the [P] and [I] flags (or just the [I] flag for Echo Company) because all they need to do is log in to tiecorps.org with their PIN and Password and fill out the form. Do not recruit [W] cadets.

Sometimes it's difficult to go through the Battle Listings on slower modems. Now from the Battle Center, you can jump directly to a battle's profile if you already know the battle type and battle number.

It is with great pleasure that I announce the promotion to Colonel of Jeff 'Tiger' Loruss, Wing Commander of the Avenger's Wing II. The Colonel has oveseen the growth of the newly opened Wing and has proven himself more than worthy of this responsibility.

New site feature

At the request of VitCarp, the Competitions page now has a search facility. At the moment, it only allows you to search contact names. However, should it prove popular, it may be expanded to allow searching of other fields. The most obvious benefit of expanding the searching would be the ability to have a quick look at which wings and squadrons are the most active. The search form can be found here, down the bottom. The link colours for the entire site have also been changed to a pale blue-type colour, to allow easier readablity.

>The Avenger Thursday Night Training competitions, open to the fleet and the DB, are being held on the IRC channel #avenger from 8pm-11pm EST for both XVT-XWA. LoCs to winners, as is the DFC to the overall winner. JK too? Not yet.

>I would like to say Congrats to ShadowHawk on making LC she deserves every bit of it.

If you have flown these already that’s ok because its for this comp. If you haven’t then you may turn them into your immediate superior for FCHG points as well. In any case fly them.
FLY these battles its an easy way to win a medal ESP if no one else submits in the platform you played it on :P

This is it Folks the first Squad to Reach 6 Citations will automatically become WC’s own for the month of ?????Heh guess that settles that. WC’s own for the month of November is STORM!!! I will now think of another way to get all pilots involved that want to make their squad WC’s own. This is the best way I feel to show who is the most active squad not only by points, the points will show who was more active only if I feel there is a close tie. Otherwise the new way is to go after the objective I set every month. Next report will have the fast way to get WC’s own.
