Welcome to another weekly Delta Squadron report.

This week has been a bit of a quiet one from the Commanders office, simply due to the fact I have been travelling back and forth between London and China whilst awaiting my wife’s visa being issued. As a result, you’ll have seen me on telegram complaining about delayed flights or issuing reports via iPhone. Fortunately, these days will be coming to an end on Sunday and I can get back to writing reports like this on a laptop and playing some flying games, as opposed to letting a professional pilot do it for me ;)

Squadron News

This week has seen a continuation of Colonel Impulses push to raise our citation count, the Colonel having released an update to his citation plan. For those of you curious as to what this entails its extensive list of missions that we need to fly to increase our citations.

We’ve also been holding some internal conversations regarding who owns and can play each platform that we currently utilize in the TIE Corps, partly in response to Xaviers requests for this information and partly to figure out how we can fare in upcoming TC competitions.

We’ve also seen pretty good activity across the squadron, Clark picking up a medal and continuing to work hard in his COOA roll. Dempsey also picked up a proverbial bucket load of medals, and her Legion of Combat & Legion of Skirmish count for the past week currently stretches across 3 pages of her ATR, to the point where I stopped counting as I approached four digits… Needless to say your commander needs a new calculator.

Furthermore, Dempsey deserves special praise in becoming only the third TIE Corps pilot to reach the COOP/PvE Rating of TA (Top Ace Ranger) earning a Commendation from Rear Admiral Silvius.

Squadron Competitions

Sadly, last week’s Trivia was put on hold due to my lack of connectivity, but we’re back on track already with question 1 already receiving a couple of answers. Hurry along the rest of you, there are points for participation, and points mean small shiny medals we hammer onto your helmets! J

I’ll also be finalizing the February MSE’s for the Vice Admiral.
