-NEWS-
SQUADRON NEWS:
• Well, here you have it. Our first official Asp Squadron report.
• Speaking of which, congrats to us for getting involved with it enough for reopening.
• Recruitment efforts should be at a maximum, we need to have at least 5-6 pilots to get some MP training in before the Supremacy Competition.
• Speaking of which, The ASF’s Supremacy Comp (NFI what number it is,) is slated to begin around January 15. Get as ready as you can!
• MSE’s are out. I’ll make a note now: I usually hand in MSE’s by the first of the new month. However, sometimes even I’m not that good. Therefore, assume that I’ve already sent it in and submit any activity you may have for the next month. (Ex: December MSE is out, but you still have stuff. Submit for January.)
• I just created an Asp Squadron e-group on Yahoo! Use it for inter-squadron notices. But don’t ignore the nice new MB’s, either!
• A lot of good activity this past week. Mostly from me and Darth Angelus. I’ll do a quick recap of activity of the last two weeks in case you didn’t read the report.
WING/SHIP NEWS (As taken from the weekly WC/COM reports):
• WC Malidir’s e-mail has changed! He can be reached at malidireh@gmail.com
• Welcome aboard and congratulations to Commander Xander Drax, who is a new addition to the wing and Viper Squadron’s new CMDR!
• CPT Arid Foxtrot is back in XIV with Copperhead after a small stint in the RSV’s. Welcome back, CPT.
• Also welcome COL Marcin Szydlowski, who has taken a FM position in Diamondback. Welcome home, sir!
• LC Apophis Kuma is tearing up SP. Good gob! Save some for SC!
ASF NEWS (As taken from the weekly BGCOM report):
• The New ISD Grey Wolf Commodore is Rear Admiral Pickled Yoda; as a result Wing XIII Commander is open for applications. Congrats, Yods!

• Supremacy Comp will begin at Midnight GMT on January 15th, it will last one month, some of the rules are still being ironed out at this time, but they'll be released soon, recent decisions however:

1. The Predator will not be participating, mostly because we don't know whether it will still be open after the FW trial concludes in January, that and most of the pilots on it are clones of members of other ASF Ships.

2. The Aggressor will be participating in the Flagship Area, so should Avenger Squadron out fly three ships, then the Aggressor will be the new Flagship, this shouldn't happen, but it would be interesting if Avenger Squadron proves me wrong, they have out flown at least one ship before.

3. MP points will be worth more than in the last couple Supremacy Comps, we are the MP Battle group so maybe that'll spark some more MP activity.

4. Freeworlds will also be added

5. We've been discussing a new system of points for FCHG/CR Rank gains.
TC NEWS:
• TAC FA Mike resigns after about two years. RA Frodo March is the new TAC. Wait a minute? Frodo is #3 in the fleet?! APOCOLYPSE! APOCOLYPSE! Just kidding and congratulations on becoming the new TAC, Frodo.
• Also in resignations, TO Drako resigns. Appointment pending.

-COMMANDER’S OFFICE-
Okay. We’ve had a good two weeks of activity between Angelus and I. Myself with the MP, and Delak with the IWATS. Heck, he also authored his own! I hope that Delak gets a new j/s ASAP, as we need a good MP showing for this upcoming SC. Also, Angelus, you need to lay off the books a bit and pick up the j/s. All in all, we’ve done well so far, our names, and the squadrons, have been all over the news lately. I’d like to keep it that way. Only other thing I can say is pick up recruiting. Like I said before, even though I’m running a recruitment comp, you get very nice ribbons with metal shapes attached from the higher ups if you bring in pilots to the wing.
