Intro
-An exciting week for the Challenge these last 7 days. Firstly Tornado Squadron has been re-opened, with no other than LC Chris McCollum at the helm. This event brought our ship up to 40 members. Thanks to Locke and C there for making this happen. For it L was rewarded with a promotion from "Rear Admiral" to "Rear Admiral"! (:P) Woo! Together with VA Locke's promo this month came Bronze Stars to CM Dulcatos, COL George and CM TK-9780. I was awarded a Silver Star :P
-A lot of other medals swept our squadron, see below for details!
-The sad news this week is that CM Dulcatos will be leaving us to join the Immortal's closed beta. I wish him good luck and thank him for the hard work he's put in. He has outflown everyone in the wing in march and very significantly helped Inferno become squad of the month. It is a bummer to see him leave and I hope to see him back with us when the beta testing finishes ;P
TC News/BG News/Wing News
-The combat operations office website has moved, it is now at http://coo.emperorshammer.net
-VA Stuart is in need of some new Professors for the BitchX, ASP, XML. If you're interested e-mail him at to@emperorshammer.net with the subject line, those who can't do, teach"
-The first 20 people who complete the OPTing course will get an ISM. GN Nightmare apparently tried to pass the test and got a score of 0%. Hmmm.
-Wing XIV Commander sought. Check ehtc.org for details.
-A new EH Ladder system is in the works in replacement of the COO Ladder and ELS systems. Sarin plans to launch it sometime next week.
-The TAC Office has released a new free, TIE Free 251!
-A new Tactical Manual has been released!
-Awardfest. Several people on the Chal were mentioned for earning merit medals on the ehtc.org, news page.
-VA Stuart has been promoted to AD, together with Lenvik and Reinthaler.
-RA Locke Setzer has been promoted to VA!
-Bubba still a VA! :0
Promos/Medals/IWATS
-COL Bill Kelso was awarded an ISM and an IS-BR!
-CPT Dujhod was awarded an IS-SR and 2 IS-BRs!
-CM Great Griffin was awarded a PC, an ISM, 3 IS-BWs and 3 IS-BRs!!
-CM Dulcatos was awarded a BS, 3 IS-BWs and an IS-BR!!

Competitions
2.INFERNO WEEKLY BONANZA/B>Every Monday this comp will begin anew for one month. The aim is to get the most points. Highest scorer each week gets the IS-BW/IS-BR with a very good chance of earning a merit medal too.
Flying Section
Battle/Mission Completion: 2 points for each completed mission, 2 extra points for each mission High Score. For a Battle, 2 x the number of missions in the battle.
MP Victory: 10 points for each MP victory.
FCHG advancemement: 10 points will be awarded for each FCHG advancement from Grenadier to Legionnaire. 20 points from Executor to Imperator.
To earn the medal (IS-BWs) a minimum of 15 points is required.
For both these sections there will be 4 rounds, which each round starting on Mondays. The third round will begin this Monday 28th of March.

INFERNO WEEKLY FLYING COMP
Each week I will pick a random TIE Fighter battle. Highest scorer for that battle earns an IS-BWs. Comp has 4 rounds, one round lasting 6 days. At the beginning of each round, the battle in question will be assigned to you. Those battles will count as activity for the Inferno Weekly Bonanza Comp iswell. Third round is Monday 28th of March.

Dirty's Final Thoughts
Congratulations on your medals to all those concerned and well done I have set up new comps this week but for those of you who have their own ideas for competitions, please transmit your ideas and we'll see if we can implement them.
We got 4 submissions for the TIE Free for the Chal vs Rel comp which is not bad. Good work to LCM Ryan, CM GG and CM Dul for getting them in. It will help immensly in our rivalry with the Rel.
I've reset some comps, I'll send you the details during the course of the week ;P
