1. Give a BIG welcome to CM Kysar Xero who comes to us from the Mutt (Odin) who will be taking up the 2-2 spot. Kysar will be one of our Free Worlds specialists and we expect to see some good stuff from him.

2. We have a Multiplayer Competition with Wing IX of the ISD Relentless that will start on the 1st of January and end on the 31st of January. For now it is only XWA and XvT but I’ll talk to their WC to see if we can put FW in there (if they have pilots). I would like to see a good dozen matches flown in this comp, but remember to fly smart because failure is NOT an option. IS-SW to the pilot with the most wins. Matches should be saught out in #ISD_relentless , #EHCOC , #Avenger_squadron AND by e-mail (IE: ask them if they want to fly and set up a match. If you know when you will be able to fly in advance, tell me about it so I can get some people to fly you. On a final note, Special surprise at the end of the comp.

3. The ASF Supremacy Competition 7 (ASF:SC VII) will be starting on the 15th of January and will end on the 15th of February. For those of you new to SC, it is basically an all-out activity comp where nearly everything you do counts for points. I don’t have the rules as of yet but you will get them as soon as I am permitted to send them out. Loads of medals will be awarded at the end of this comp in the form of Iron Stars (Gold, Silver & Bronze in both Wings and Ribbons) and I have a few surprises in store for the victores. Up for grabs in this comp are the title of ASF Flagship, ASF Escort Squadron (Top Squad) and Top Pilot. We will be participating as the VSD Aggressor for the Flagship title and as Avenger Squadron for the Top Squad title. I expect each and everyone of you to give it your all, if you do not believe that you will be able to fully take part in SC then I suggest you contact me so that we may discuss your situation. We are the Elite Squadron of the ASF and I believe that the outcome of the SC should reflect that.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Have a great new Years celebration people, I hope you have fun and return home safely. We have a couple things coming up for us, right now we’ll be concentrating on our MP comp with Wing IX which shouldn’t be to demanding (in amounts of activity that is).
