Nu Squadron Commander's Report, 11/14/04

Squadron News

* As it stands right now, we still have an open flight leader position in the squadron. If you are interested in this position, please send an e-mail to your squadron commander at russell@isdcolossus.tcbg.net stating briefly why you think you should be given this position. We need to get this filled as soon as possible.
* The Nu Squadron website is now back, using the same format as CM Inahj did before his leave from the Emperor's Hammer. It can be found at http://nu.minos.net/, the same URL that it was at before the change in squadron commanders. Check back here occasionally to get updates on various different levels, including the ever important competitions.
* Round two of the Exercise Cantina Run has just recently come to an end, with a total of seven submissions in the wing. Not a horrible turnout, but I would like to see far more from this squadron.
* Round three of the Exercise Cantina Run has just recently begun. You all now have until Friday to submit a fictional composition- either a humorous cantina story, or a story about a battle to capture the thieves who stole the ALCl supplies. The minimum word count for this is 500, with a maximum of 2500. Additional details will be posted on the squadron website.
* There is a new TIE Corps message board that may be found at http://www.ehtiecorps.org/mb/. I am not sure if this is going to be a permanent move from the other Emperor's Hammer message boards, but I will keep you all informed if it is. Regardless, check it out if you get a chance.

Squadron Status

* Activity is currently looking rather dismal, as I have only been able to get a hold of one member of the squadron. I am now making it mandatory for all members of the squadron to get in contact with me as soon as possible, or at least show some other sign of activity- I am not afraid to make AWOL requests. This will become even more apparent in the "Activity Reports" section coming next.
