Intro
Yesterday, I fly my TIE Defender blasting Vepaal scum thinking I was all high and mighty, when I suddenly hear a strange noise. After quitting the mission, because things were getting dodgy. I get the "Please Insert XWA CD". So I frown and press that little button to open and close my CD-ROM drive, but to no avail. "Please Insert XWA CD" remains. I re-open the drive and look at my CD, which now has a crack in the mid-section. I cry in despair and let out a huge F*** !!!!!!!!!!!For all those of you who are wondering what the hell all this is about... My XWA CD 2 is screwed... which means my XWA SP Mission days are over...for the time being.
On another note, things were quite good activity wise... keep it up. I've set up a new flying competition for you `phoon pilots. Check it out further down this report.

TC News/BG News/Wing News
-Two BGCOMs will be retiring, who are two of the TIE Corps longest serving members. They are AD Mell Kerrigan, our BGCOM and AD Proton the Sov's BGCOM. Mell, it's a shame to see you leave. You've been a good guy towards me since I joined in january, and have pushed me to continue my fiction, which I prolly wouldn't have continued if it wasn't for you. Endebtment is not an easy thing to live with and must be dealt with before it's too late. I wish you the best of luck in sorting this out.
- SSL Results have been released. Sadly we're not mentioned :( To see the results go on ehtc.org where they are published.
- Internet Officer open for applications... again :P
- The Combat Operations Office is hosting a Single Elimination Tournament in both the XVT and XWA platforms. All matches will be played 5/5 Host with standard EH MP rules. Each winner will earn a LoC per match, the top three in each platform will win the respective G-S-B Wings, and the winners in each platform will also receive a DFC. Sign ups are located at the COO MB at http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewforum.php?f=79 If you do sign up, please also let me (Dirty) know...
- Windows XP SP2 will not run a utlity called TIEPATCH.EXE, something which the Science Office uses in all their patches. The utility will be replaced evntually but if you to fly missions which require patches don't install SP2 yet. Un-Installing it no work either!

This is a simple XWA flying comp. It will run for three weeks, starting on October 1st, and ending on October 22nd. The comp includes three battles, one to be flown each week. For example, the first week's battle may not be submitted for credit in the comp after the second week begins, etc.
They are:
*Week 1 (1-8 oct) XWA TC 8: Hammer to Anvil
*Week 2 (8-15 oct) XWA TC 13: Hammer to Anvil II
*Week 3 (15-22 oct) XWA TC 35: Hammer to Anvil III
Medals to be awarded: IS-SW to the winner and IS-BW to the runner up.
2. Typhoon October Flying Comp
This is a standard TIE flying Comp. Fly TIE Battle TC 121. Highest scorer of this simple 4 mission battle wins!
