Thunder Weekly Squadron Report #75

INTRO
I am back! Mwuhahahahaha! Thanks for running so well while I was on vacation.
 
Since we're all to lazy to read reports properly, new and important stuff will be in red. I will also be sending a "Do or Die" report midweek to remind you of the impending doom from now participating in certain competitions.

COMPETITIONS AND ORDERS

-Bubba's Spampire Run-on
    Pop over to the Wing X message board and add to the marvelous Spampire thread. Awards will be given to the best additions. Certain high volume spammers have even been singled out for extra participation. ;)
 
-The Flight Leader's New Clothes
    Fritzy just got a new uniform intended for a totally different club. Help him choose an awesome pose that he can submit for Thunder's Calling Card photo. Entries can by worded descriptions or pics sent to Fritz (achtung_spitfire@hotmail.com).
 
-Thunder's Reign of Terror
    I'm going to challenge someone for our first victim tomorrow. Prepare your TIEs!


-Caption Competition
    Yeah...lots of craziness here. But I, too, am requiring participation in this comp if for no other reason than it's ridiculously easy. Go see this month's picture at http://www.tcbg.net/images/captionaug.jpg and then send in a caption to our Battle Groups Commander Mell (mell@tcbg.net) and me (beefment@aol.com).
 
-Star Wars Galaxies
    I see that several of you play this game. While it is counted as activity, I would like to see more "tangible" forms of activity. So, when submitting "Played SWG" as a weekly activity, please also include a short summary of what sorts of adventures your SWG character had that week. It can be a short paragraph or you can get creative and turn it into a polished story, but I want to see something to show off when considering activity medals. ;)

    Visit our message board often. It is the best place to get to know the rest of the squadron. Yes, there is spam. But there are also relavent posts (such as "Current Orders") that are kept separate from the much enjoyed spam threads. http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewforum.php?f=43
 
-Battleboard
    Thanks to Beef we all remember the Battleboard. It is an excellent chart that shows us which battles which pilots should fly in order to earn us a citation. A squadron is awarded a citation for each battle that half of its members have flown. So if you suddenly feel a hankering for some flying (which you should), pop over to this link and fly something that will earn us another citation! -Recruitment
    Thunder isn’t full and neither is the wing or the club. Please, contact any people you know that are interested in Star Wars and tell them of our great club. This also means setting a good example and generally being a gentleman or lady when on message boards, game servers, or anywhere else where you are representing the EH. Behaving badly in public smears our image and deters recruits.

-Jeff's New Wargame
    From his comfy jacuzzi aboard the reserves frigate, recent Thunderinian Jeff Domm is firing up a new wargame. He's still looking for participants.
