Rho Report # 0 (2004-11-02)

This report was submitted by CPT Ninj Prefect

Greetings Rho!

Been a good week overall, Daar buried me in tfrs as usual, but has graciously decided to give me a break by going skiing, I got the job at Boerings, so I'm now a bona-fide Apprentice Mechanic, and my vaunted 22nd Panzer Divsion has thrown the Soviets back across the Don River, woohoo!

ON TO NEWS!

News

-I'm doing a report.

-Wing II competition, Veterans vs Rookies has come to its concluson. Stele is caculating the results as we speak or there will be hell to pay.

-My hand hurts after BSFing all of Daar's pilot files.

Transfers In/Out

None in, none out. Recruit so I can look good.

Activity

CPT Ninj Prefect- Doing this report, moving the vaunted 22nd Panzer Divison to Sicily to repel the Allied landings, etc.

LT Avatar- No contact but that's probably my fault. The poor boy probably doesn't even know if I'm alive. SO WAKE UP AND TALK TO ME! ahem That is all.

LT Viper-Pred: Has reported in and mentioned that he has TIE problems, so he's out of action for the moment. But he reported in, Yay!

CM Dweez- Maintaining our beloved Rhobot in #airlock54 on IRC, flew for the Vet/Rook comp, and is being himself. Yay!

LT Moagim Daar: shudders This boy sure is a flying fool. Hounding me day and night with tfrs on all sides. Keep up the good work! And is now on vacation, so my hand has a chance to recover.

Conclusion

Activity is bumping around, and I'm pleased to see an spiking increase in activity. So keep up the good work, you inactive pilots, just report in, and everything would be A-OK. So go out, fly, and all will be great. Yes I'm balantly ripping off my own reports until a dramatic change occurs. =P

Mandatory Wing Orders

-None that I know of atm now that the Vet vs Rook comp has reached its concluson.

Due Oct 29th

Ship News copied from Stele's report (Same as last week until Stele issues a new ship report.)

Wing II WC open for applications: The tough part of being promoted to a new spot is having to pick the new pilot to fill in for you. Argh. I've decided to open up and see who wants to apply instead of me having to search for a pilot to fill in for Wing II WC. Know though, that I will probably pick someone from within that wing. I'm not doing that just because I was from Wing II. If a WC from Wing I or Wing VII stepped down, there's a greater chance I'd pick the WC from within those wings. Please feel free to apply, though, as anything could happen. (Send all applications to Stele.)

Sigma CMDR chosen: I still have some left over Wing II business to take care of and one of them was the appointment of Sigma CMDR. MAJ Aft decided to step down to the reserves due to RL. After receiving a few applicants I narrowed it down to LCM Granite. Granite has been with Sigma for the longest time I can remember and I know he's got the right stuff to command Sigma and to rebuild it. Congratulations, Granite. I will place you there soon, today.

Wing News

Wing I: Awaiting orders from the ship. Have not received wing report since I joined, but thats ok, I just joined.

Wing II: Has finished the Veteran vs Rookie competition, is now judging the results.

Wing VII: Where was this week's Babe of the Week!? Wing awaiting the ship orders.

FW: Team Speak
04:42 - HA Priyum Patel
It's been suggested that to become more active in the non-play aspect of the Freeworlds server, we need to have a greater presence on Team Speak. For those of you who aren't aware of what TS is, it's basically an application that allows people to speak to other in real-time, with multiple channels. It can be downloaded for free from the TS website.

The server address is ts.assassinsden.com, but before you can connect, you also need an account. PM Burnout with a desired username and password and he'll get you all set. To chat you'll obviously need a microphone, but you won't need one to listen. Remember that you're expected to be courteseous and polite at all times - no matter what's being discussed. Just keep in mind idea behind the Codes of Conduct and you should do fine. If we get enough users, I'll look into holding regular meetings there.

Update
I've been given access to register people on TS. Email me your desired username and password and I'll add you. We have our own EH channel also, ask me for the password.

FW: Territory Engagement
15:33 - HA Priyum Patel
Freeworlders: There is a Territory Engagement tomorrow night at Midnight GMT / 1900 EST. It will be Empire vs New Republic and the targets are the Golan Arms Station & Jedi Academy. Check the Burnout Forums for the password, or ask me on IRC/Email. As usual, we will be meeting in #isd_predator 30 minutes before the start to discuss the battle plan.

Those of you keeping up to date with the latest goings on in the FW universe should be aware of the many negative perceptions the EH currently has amongst the general FW community - the huge majority of them being simply untrue and based on idle sniping and gossip. This TE is pretty much our last chance to show the server that we are active, good Role-Players and active participants in server events. Please make every effort to attend and take part. Thank you.

A quick last point to those with other non-EH characters. It's been suggested that if you die (during non-TE skirmishes), you shouldn't swap to another character that has a better ship and rejoin the fray. Apparently this is happening a lot and I'd have to agree that this is bad form. Please don't do it.

Wing XX CMDR chosen

After careful consideration, COL Trido has been named the new WING XX WC! Congrats!

TIEBGCOM Applications being accepted
15:13 - FA Cyric
From now until the Nov 12, 2004 I will be accepting applications for the position of TIEBGCOM. All the requirments that have been posted numerous times apply.

I would prefer dedicated members of the TIEBG to apply and these members to have held the position of COM or higher.

Have TIEBGCOM application in the subject header.

Since AD Mell is not leaving for another month, don't bug me with any questions about when am I going to pick the spot. I will have someone appointed the same minute AD Mell steps down :)

Long haired freaky people need not apply...

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO STICK OUT SO Y'ALL CAN READ MY LAST SETENCE.

Until next week Rho. Office door is always open. And email me at zakath@gmail.com, not evonninj@yahoo.com. Must remember to email Flight Officer... wanders off mumbling to himself
