Epsilon Weekly Report #38

News

Well, well. :-)

Victory over Phoenix and Krayt Squadron means we have officially placed THIRD in the XvT division. Well done to all that flew in this competition. A special thanks to Rez Chaser for backing me to the hilt and giving the final rounds everything he had.

And while we weren't in the final - we definately made our presence felt. :-)

This week has also seen the unfortunate retirement of our Commodore, Admiral Proton. He had commanded the Sovereign for almost three years before hanging up his code cylinder on Friday.

In honour of his achievements, the position of SOVCOM is *not* currently open to applications.

Competitions

Epsilon Squadron Patch!

Epsilon Squadron requires a uniform patch. All members of our Wing are encouraged to participate. The winning Squadron Patch will be decided by a vote among the Epsilon Squadron members. Good luck!

P.S. Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for the Winner :P

Summary

There we have it. The SSL is over and behind us. Damn fine job, if I say so myself :-)

This result symbolises what Epsilon has become. A few months ago, aspiring to this sort of achievement would be considered mad.

Last *week*, this goal seemed out of reach.

But the same Epsilon story held true.

While there is still one person here with a joystick and a will, there will *ALWAYS* be a way to succeed. That's the legacy I want to leave for Epsilon and the next wave of pilots to inherit. Pilot numbers aren't the be all and end all to success. (though I'm always on the look for more)

It's the will and the desire to enjoy yourself here through taking part that matters.

ACES HIGH!
