Okay, two bits of news that need our attention, so I’ll make it snappy… sorta :-P
Firstly, despite the valiant efforts of our three participants, we were defeated by Sigma Squadron. Any other week I would be greatly disappointed with this effort, but the margin of the defeat (329 points when both Squads scored in excess of 80,000) and the fact we have far bigger fish to fry leave me feeling just the wrong side of melancholy.
Congratulations to Sigma Squadron for a well-deserved win.
This loss is a blessing in disguise. It’s a timely reminder that anything less than 100% in competition will result in a genuine squishing. So get those SSL battles flown! :-)
