Intro
And it's the end of september and a pretty eventful week. It's great to check your inbox each day, and have 10-15 e-mail messages waiting for you once again. On top of that, wing comps are back! I really missed playing XWA for medals (nice one Bubba :P). Thanks to the new flags for making this happen!Well enough sucking up to my superiors (hehehe ¬¬) ... and moving on
The WC has asked us to choose a secretary, so due to his good service activity-wise and his experience in the TC and as `Phoon Commander, MAJ Ponda Jarret is the new squad XO :P

TC News/BG News/Wing News
-FreeWorlds Clones and the TC.... Cyric wants to remind everyone that the clones created for the FreeWolds "Experiment" MUST have different e-mail addresses than those of your primary profile. Please make sure that, if you slipped through the cracks with the same e-mail address that you change it.
-The Fleet Manual (the official spacecraft technical referance of the Emperor's Hammer) has been ported to php/database. Many new craft were added (25), about all these craft now have graphics that show them from all angles, all craft have their full XWA statistics added, all patches are linked up etc. The Fleet Manual is located at: http://www.minos.net/~sco/fleet-manual/index.html
-New Battles have been released: BoP-Free32 - Axis: Sistership BoP-Free33 - Cool Hand Luke Tie-Free249 - TIE Fighter: Demonstration
-Vanguard COM sought, send apps to AD Khadgar (khadgar1@shaw.ca).
-The SCO has set up a craft essay competition. Write an essay about your favorite Star Wars ship: Why was it designed? What are its main uses? Its History? Its strengths and shortcomings? More details on ehtc.org
-Mission creators sought. If you're interested in desiging a TIE, XvT or XWA battle with some pre-written plot details for use by the TIE Corps (especially the Aggressor Strike Force for a competition), contact AD Khadgar (khadgar1@shaw.ca).
-New Mailing lists have been made. Phoon's mailing list is: typhoon@isdchallenge.tcbg.net and the Challenge's mailing list is wingx@isdchallenge.tcbg.net Yay to no more yahoo lag, and boring advertisements!

-Finaly a new pilot in our ranks, SL Ranj'e Lilos has left that battered up Deadalus training platform, and joins us in `phoon to get some real action. Welcome to the squad :P

-CM Dirty Vader got an IS-GW for coming first place in the XWA Round II of the SSL.
-MAJ Bobxavi has transfered in and out of Typhoon.
-New Pilot: SL Ranj'e Lilos who joins the Challenge in `phoon!! Wooooo!
Squadron Citations/Status/Comps
1.Bubba's Bouncing Battle Ballooza (whatever the hell that means :P) This is a simple XWA flying comp. It will run for three weeks, starting on October 1st, and ending on October 22nd. The comp includes three battles, one to be flown each week. For example, the first week's battle may not be submitted for credit in the comp after the second week begins, etc.They are: *Week 1 (1-8 oct) XWA TC 8: Hammer to Anvil
*Week 2 (8-15 oct) XWA TC 13: Hammer to Anvil II
*Week 3 (15-22 oct) XWA TC 35: Hammer to Anvil III
Medals to be awarded: IS-SW to the winner and IS-BW to the runner up.
2.Challenge Historic Trivia
Each squadron will have until October 11th to answer as many questions as they can which were sent out by the COM.
Medals to be awarded: IS-SR to each participating member of the winning squadron. Runner ups get the IS-BR.
3.TCBG September Caption Comp
This months Caption image is here: participants are to add a clean, yet humorous comment to this.
Medals to be awarded: IS-SR to the winner and IS-BR to the runner up.
4.SCO: Craft Essay Competition
