Thunder Weekly Squadron Report #68

Good day ladies and gentlemen, it is with great honor that I have served you for well over 68 weeks… for over a year and a half I have proudly been able to say I was the Commander of the legendary Thunder Squadron, my home for my entire TIECorps career. It was my dream to one day take command of my home, Thunder, but that dream has now evolved. I will always remember, fondly, my times leading you, this wonderful group, and will always cherish it. I move on to hopefully share the success that you and I have achieved in Thunder with the rest of our wing. It is my hope that I may continue to hold true to the values of our Squadron. It is also my hope that you, Thunderinians will continue to thrive without me at your head. I leave you in the very capable hands of former (now current) Thunder Commander Colonel Beef. He was my commander and one of those who motivated me to give all I have. I encourage all of you to stay and make Thunder thrive, because although I have left as your commander, I stay with you. I’m just moving my office to a quieter place, so I can get more sleep ;). Fluffy and I will visit from time to time, so be sure to look out for us.

Since the Veteran GN Master has taken over the Tornado (inactive squadron) Commander's quarters there are a few things that need to be done. *orders that all Thunderinians new practice location for their garbage heap drum band is just outside Master's door and that his door is now fairgame for beating on* *also reminds everyone that Master doesn't live in a barracks like other FM/FLs because he is an old disabled veteran, an alumini who gets special treatment (that and we have a few extra rooms for the commanders of the squadrons that are currently shut down).* *also reminds everyone that the other rooms for the shut down squadron commanders are not for use in any way, be it sexual, prank, animal habitat, or plotting unless priorly approved* Applications for the use of the Cyclone Commander room can be sent to LC Stuart By August 30th,2004 at sgeers@hotmail.com with the subject line (Can I PLEASE???). Beef: Beef, you led me and the other vets in the past, and although you are probably sick of me saying this… take good care of Thunder for me… I completely trust that you will, you have done it before. Oh, and don’t forget about your new XO, she’s gonna need some of your Beefy experience for the one day she takes over Thunder.

Karce: Please inform Beef of your current condition, I am glad you have stuck around. Remember, to write fiction only requires 3 things… pencil, paper, and your mind… please blanket my squadron in words ^_^ By the way, your remaining prank will be done soon.

Flight 2!! My Dutch invasion… Don’t ever let anyone else get a foothold on our messageboard, slime it with spam (this includes you Fritz!!)

Fritz: Keep strong Fritz, even through tough times you will always have your friends. Kick back a bit, but do embrace who it is you are. You may not be the most creative member of the squadron, but you really need to see that you have a lot to offer. Also, please make sure that the Dutch Invasion doesn’t get too out of hand… you have temporary Jaeger control privileges to take care of which ever members *cough flight leaders* who get out of hand ;). By the way, your remaining prank will be done soon ^_^

Ice: Dude, I’m gonna miss your occasional creative reports… it’s too bad Galacrack got ahold of you. I do expect that you are going to fill Beef’s inbox with pilot files soon, and their resulting BSF emails will fill mine. Keep working on that fiction, it doesn’t really need to be edited; it has too much character in it to be forced to be ‘grammatically correct’. Keep writing Ice, you have some really good ideas.

Ryuu: My fluffy little ewok… YOU are in charge of the health and morale of Thunder’s animals. Azurin has created a nice habitat in the Cyclone Commander room, feel free to move in from time to time if you need to get away from the dirty humans. ;)

Azurin: Do please keep submitting graphics, I enjoy them immensely. Also, I need you to keep those boyos in line when I’m not around since Beef is elderly and might break a cyborg hip if he has to do too much.


Alexi: Alexi, if there is one thing I will remember over all else is you constantly keeping me on my toes. You have no idea how many times I described just that to our fluctuating command staff. You have been a source of many problems and solutions; a very strange but unique individual. Please try and keep your criticism constructive, it will benefit everyone. Oh, and I hope your messageboard account works soon, because I know that you help the Dutch Invasion with the flooding of the messageboards and I expect you will continue to do the same.

Jeffery: Well Jeff, although your activity has been sporadic I’m glad you are here. You managed to pull through entries for large important competitions while driving your flight leader insane from not contacting him. I want both you and JamieK to pester Alexi with at LEAST one email a week, any other activity is your choosing.

JamieK: For pete’s sake man! Wake up. I was quite pleased to have a pilot file in my inbox so soon after you joined us, and it was you that asked me about joining Thunder. Please pick up because, frankly, I don’t want to see someone so enthusiastic about joining Thunder just fade away. I want both you and Jeff to pester Alexi with at LEAST one email a week, any other activity is your choosing.






Well, I guess that’s it ladies and gentlemen… my last WSR… this is a teary goodbye for me, but I’m still just around the corner ^_^
