COMPETITIONS AND ORDERS

-Thunder's Reign of Terror
    I haven't received many entries or pics for the calling card, so I figure we'll just skip ahead to the fun part: winning. Right now I need to know who can and cannot fly TIE Fighter for competitions. Please reply and let me know. And since some of you are probably skimming this whole report, I'll be sending a separate email to reiterate this order in short, simple words.
 
-Thunder's Calling Card
    Soon I will begin our Reign of Terror on other squadrons. But first we need some sort of calling card to leave behind on their message boards when we win. If you have an idea for such a calling card, draw it up and send it in to me. Or send me a picture of yourself (real or not) in some sort of cool victory pose and I'll see if I can use it in an idea of my own. UPDATE: I'm still accepting anything you want to send me.
 
-Caption Competition
    I recently discovered a monthly competition held throughout the Battle Group. It is possibly the easiest competition ever. Go see this month's picture at http://www.tcbg.net/images/captionaug.jpg and then send in a caption for said pic! The winner gets an Iron Star-Gold Ribbon! There is no excuse not to participate in something so easy and fun. Send your entries to our Battle Groups Commander Mell (mell@tcbg.net) and me (beefment@aol.com).

    Visit our message board often. It is the best place to get to know the rest of the squadron. Yes, there is spam. But there are also relavent posts (such as "Current Orders") that are kept separate from the much enjoyed spam threads. http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewforum.php?f=43
 
-Battleboard
    Yeah, I forgot what this is too. It is an excellent chart that shows us which battles which pilots should fly in order to earn us a citation. A squadron is awarded a citation for each battle that half of its members have flown. So if you suddenly feel a hankering for some flying (which you should), pop over to this link and fly something that will earn us another citation! -Recruitment
    Thunder isn’t full and neither is the wing or the club. Please, contact any people you know that are interested in Star Wars and tell them of our great club. This also means setting a good example and generally being a gentleman or lady when on message boards, game servers, or anywhere else where you are representing the EH. Behaving badly in public smears our image and deters recruits.

-Thunderinian Receives Commodation of Loyalty
    Yay for Lt. Commander Ice. He was awarded a CoL this week. This medal is awarded to those who show execptional devotion to the fleet and is VERY difficult to earn as it is only awarded twice a year! Congrats.

-Imperial Storm V
    This massive fleet-wide wargame has begun. I don't know much about it just yet, but it seems most of the work is done by the admirals and such. I have been drafted by Admiral Mell into this conflict as a strategy advisor.
