All I hear is SILENCE about TIE-DB 15 and XWA-DB 14 for SSL Semifinals. Has anyone even tried to fly these yet?

If so, let us know how it goes! C'mon... the longer we wait, the less time we have to improve our scores...


Squadron News:
- Sovereign Squadron League 2004 Semifinals are here.

- New squadron guidelines for recruiting: when e-mailing potential candidates, their CO must be CC'ed in recruiting e-mails.
By TC regulation this is only necessary for official invitations from the CMDR. We are doing so as a courtesy to possible candidates' CO's. Other communications remain unrestricted, as always, casual banter is of course encouraged.

- Summer Patrol about to begin!
A weekly series of missions and battles to fly. Those who complete the required missions every week win cool stuff. 8 weeks long, it's more difficult than you think. This week's (week 2) battles are due August 1 (Sunday).

- Freelander w/Free Worlds modification is about become a supported platform. ISD Predator in the ASF has been activated to accommodate FW pilots.

"But I have some big news about the game itself. SOE has already revealed most, but not all, of the ships that we'll have in JTL. While I was playing, I took a peek at the skill trees and found some interesting info. In the Privateer skill tree, a piloting certification for the YT-2400 is listed under the Ace (Master) box. In the Rebel pilot tree, they get a cert for the B-Wing. And for us Imperials, we have a cert for the ship of all ships, the TIE Defender. I asked both Kevin Hara (who evidently put off retirement long enough to attend the Con) and Executive Producer Haden Shug Ninx Blackman about it, and they both smiled and said, We haven't finalized the ship certifications yet."
