Busy week. Artyis tried to kill me with BSF's, and I know with the end of Round 5 this week, I'm going to get buried again.
Squadron News:
- Omegasquadron.org will be down for a few hours on Thursday, 13 May, for maintenance. If urgent communication with me is required, please use my brian1.net address.
- Biggest news is that SSL Round 4 TIE results are not being added to the contest totals, due to problems with TIE-FREE 185. I don't know the back story on this, but I did see bug reports in the TC DB about it. While I am displeased at this turn of events, Omega took 5 of the top 8 spots in TIE for Round 4.
- Omega holds 2nd place in SSL XWA-division. Woohoo!
- We continue to drink in the cantina-- this is what, the 3rd week straight? Ixion and Artyis both to FLs, Manijak to CA:RO/VA, and now a CMDR/GN in the squadron.
(note, you are still EXPECTED to fly TIE-FREE 213 and XWA-FREE 108 by this Friday! You can spare an hour away from the celebrating for that!)

Ixion's been contacting new recruits for me, and it doesn't look promising-- several candidates are expected to decline or have declined as expected (due to other commitments), while one or two haven't responded at all. It's time to find more candidates... any suggestions?
