Avenger Squadron News:

Let's all welcome Girth Snail to Avenger! The MP winner of the SC5 is officially a part of Avenger now. Just in time to get his 8 LoCs for EH Squadron wars too! Welcome!
A number of officers are being called up for active duty in the military for the United States. However you may feel about the conflict with Iraq, please support our troops as they perform the duties called upon them by the commander-in-chief.

Current Competitions:

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Avengers should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions:

#ehcoc MP Events Several Multiplayer Competitions take place weekly in #ehcoc. You can find a schedule of competitions at The Combat Office .
Week of War: These are hosted at BSC and flown on the Zone. Info can be found at Battlestats or on theZone. All Avengers should participate at these!
Soverign Squadron League: The Soverign Squadron League is coming, a single SP mission per 1 or 2 weeks, top 6 scorers in a squad count towards week's winnings. There will be seeded playoffs depending on how we do in regular season. DS wanted us in this, so we are in. Dust off your TIE disks and prepare for action!

The Competitions consist of: FCHG-The Pilot who gains the most FCHG in a month, CR-The Pilot who gains the most CR in a month, Avenger Ace-The Pilot who earns the most Pilot of the Week awards in a month, Graphics-The pilot who submits the best graphics in a month, Beat The CMDR-The Pilot who beats the CMDR in a head on MP match.
New Flight Names If you can design new flight names, that I like, you will win a Iron Star. Flights were recently renamed, but I will always entertain suggestions..

CMDR's Thoughts

Pilot of the week: Azazel! I'm sounding like a broken record. Az continues to make me happy with lots of MP wins. Good work, Az!

With the addition of Girth Snail, we are getting back up to strength. We are still well above 300 citations, and I like it that way. PLUS, a patch for the exclusive use of Avenger Squadron based missions has been released by the Science office, you mission creation types out there, make a mission or a battle featuring us! I'll try to get you something nice for your uniform for it.
