Avenger Squadron News:

This is the Sick as a dog version of the Weekly report, I was out ill yesterday, so here is the report. Sorry it is late.
The SC5 is over, with Avenger scoring a solid second place. This is impressive considering the fact that we were not at full strength during the entire comp. I'm proud of the fact that you gave a good effort to try to defend the ASF escort squadron title during this time.


Personnel Transfers:

- Avenger Squadron lost 1 pilot:
Cpt Quicksilver has departed Avenger for a position on the Grey Wolf. We wish our former Avenger well in his career!




Medals and Awards:

Due to a crash in my email, I do not have all the medal listings for this month. What I do remember:
Zoron recieves IS-BW for Beat The commander!
Azazel receives IS-BR for Avenger Ace!
Mykos receives CoB, IS-BR for most CR gain in a month!
Most others received a BS for their activity in the SC5.




Current Competitions:

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Avengers should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions:

#ehcoc MP Events Several Multiplayer Competitions take place weekly in #ehcoc. You can find a schedule of competitions at The Combat Office .
Week of War: There are currently 3 specialty wars being run by Battlestats.com, hosted on the Zone going on now and next week.
1: XvT Assault Gunboat Galore 2. Only Assault gunboat matches allowed, and pilots from the same club WILL be allowed to fly each other. ON NOW!
2: XWA CloakShape Calamity. Same rules as above, ON NOW!
3: FireSpray Fetish. XWA, same rules as above, starts next Friday. These allow us to be awarded LoCs and DFCs, I'd like to see all Avengers participate in these! T/B XvT war also available in March, depending on participation levels.
Avenger Competitions:

Avenger Iron Star Competitions Each month Avenger Hosts Five Iron Star Competitions. The Competitions consist of: FCHG-The Pilot who gains the most FCHG in a month, CR-The Pilot who gains the most CR in a month, Avenger Ace-The Pilot who earns the most Pilot of the Week awards in a month, Graphics-The pilot who submits the best graphics in a month, Beat The CMDR-The Pilot who beats the CMDR in a head on MP match.
Recruitment Avenger Pilots will be awarded a Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for recruiting new Pilots! Remember, only I can directly recruit new pilots, so give me the names of anyone who you think would meet our criteria, and I will contact them.

Recruitment With the departure of QS to the GW, we are in need of new pilots to fill the ranks once again. I will be evaluating talent and inviting pilots to join in the next couple of weeks. Be on the lookout for qualified personnel!
