SONG OF THE WEEK: Beast of Burden by the Rolling Stones. This is one of my favorite songs ever.. it's a very mellow tune with a good.. beat? :p It's just good to listen and play air drums to, while relaxing.
SHOW OF THE WEEK: Led Zeppelin - 4/27/77. Just got this yesterday and it's very nice. The first set is some lesser known songs, but the second set really heats up with Ten Years Gone, Battle of Evermore, Going to California, Kashmir, Achilles Last Stand and Stairway to Heaven. Wow!

SQUADRON NEWS:

1) Congratulations to MAJ David who this week received a Palpatine's Crescant for all of his hard work in January. He flew quite a bit in January, including for competitions. He also designed all of those squadron patches and was involved with the Wing IV Academy.
2) IMPORANT! We need to fly DB-TIE 11 for our comp with Wing VIII and it's very important to get a lot of submissions in. It's a Wing vs. Wing comp, and our reputation is at stake. You have a month to fly.
3) I encourage you to try and fly TC-TIE 55 for the Wing IV Ace comp and TC-TIE 183, TC-XWA 32 or TC-XvT 31 for the February Sov Battle of the Month. This is secondary to DB-TIE 11 though!
4) I have assigned FREE-TIE 199 for you guys to fly in the next week or two or eight.. It's an easy mission :) Send 'er in when it's completed.. try to do so before.. St. Patrick's Day? :p C'mon, you can do it. Let's see.. Jonny and Valic have flown this sucker last week!
