Diamondback squadron weekly report #57
LC Gidda, 03/30/2003

- SQUADRON NEWS -

  • Diamondback did quite well in the first round of Sovereign League, however there's still much space for improvements and expecially for better participation. Remember that even if only the best six pilot files are considered for the squadron total, all pilots are supposed to fly. Anyway, a new Round has begun and it will end 11th April. Read the Competitions Report to know missions to fly.
  • Back to Basics #3 results:
1. LC Gidda = 23,510
2. CPT Derek Dan = 22,530

Wow, that was a close match but we managed to get 1st and 2nd at this Wing competition. Round #4 is already on!
  • For some inexplicable reason CPT Linoge suddenly decided to transfer out of Diamondback squadron. His official reason was that he wanted to serve under a Polish CMDR and fly in a Polish squadron. Ok, I'm not Polish but I find hard to imagine a "more Polish" squadron than Diamondback :p
  • MAJ Michael has fixed his connection problems and he's back to full action. Unfortunately LCM Hubert is still having some technical difficulties and his computer is in need of new CPU and HDD. For the next days Hubert is to be considered on leave.
  • New missions and battles released by TAC:
    • XvT-TC #63
    • XvT-Free #139, 140
    • XWA-Free #97, 98

- TIE CORPS NEWS -

  • CO openings
    20:06 - SA Astatine [jpboyce@indigo.net.au]
There are currently three (3) CO positions open for applications. They are:
  • Subjugator COM Retires
    11:13 - HA Priyum Patel [spellfire@btinternet.com]
Unfortunately, due to increasing RL contraints, Rear Admiral Chamberlain has retired as Commodore of the ISD Subjugator in the ATF. The Flight Office thanks him for his work as COM all these past months.

For the time being applications are NOT being accepted - do not send them.
