Theta Report # 1 (2003-02-23)

This report was submitted by CPT Zekk Terrik

*Zekk stumbles out of his office with a datapad, tripping over boxes and piles of books
strewn over the floor and makes his way to the auditorium where the pilots are just taking
their seats. He has bags under his eyes and his eyes are bloodshot. He takes a sip from his
coffee mug, but you get the feeling that it's not coffee.*
Mmm...Corellian whiskey...

Greetings, pilots. It'll be a short report this week, as I'm really only reporting about
four or five days worth of stuff since I took over as commander. I must say, taking as over
as Theta CMDR is the best thing that's ever happened to me - your booze really is as good
as they say.

***SQUADRON NEWS***
- I, Captain Zekk Terrik, took over as Theta CMDR. If you hadn't noticed that yet, please
shoot yourself.

- MAJ Jack Stone has agreed to continue working on the Theta Squadron webpage. Thanks for
taking the load off my shoulders, Jacko.

- LCM Fatboy has changed his e-mail address to doctor_inedible@yahoo.com

- LT Gary Serpent has been declared as AWOL, and I'm waiting for a response from the Flight
Office.

***WING NEWS***
- Battles of the Month:
TIE-TC 183 (Defection of Kusanagi)
XvT-TC 31 (Pirate Scouts)
XWA-TC 24 (The History of the SSSD Sovereign)

- Wow. There's really not much else to say here. Everyone go fly. I actually enjoy doing
BSFs. Did my first couple yesterday.

- I hear the old Sovereign League is starting up sometime next month. More news later.

The Science quotes Webhunt
17:40 - AD Ender mBind [mindb_ender@hotmail.com]
A little Science Office competition for all to enjoy, even the Fleet Commander if he wants:
The Science quotes Webhunt! The science Office reports all start with a Quote... but they
are all without references! Find the 15 references on the web and gain points. The one with
the most points wins the medal(s) - an IS-SR for the winner and a IS-BR for the second place
More information in the latest SCO report as well:).

EH Squadron Wars
12:36 - VA Kyle Katarn [Kyle.Katarn@isdcolossus.com]

I know it is late and almost nobody knew about it. However there is an EH only BSC War!
Feel free to fly. This is the test fight for the Parallax Wars! Unfortunately my HDD Problem
kept me from reporting this, however there is still time left!

***SQUADRON ORDERS***
- Go recruit like crazy. Our ranks are nearly depleted.

- The Battles of the Month are not and never will be optional. I consider them mandatory.
You have a whole month to fly them for the platforms you own and I don't see any excuse to
not.

- Fly anything else you feel like. Remember, huge bursts of activity AS WELL AS long,
consistent stints of activity will not go unnoticed.
