- SQUADRON NEWS -

  • Second round of Sovereign League 2003 ended yesterday, I'm glad of the scores you got but participation is rather disappointing. We have only five entries both in XvT and XWA categories and I received only two pilot files for TIE. Remember that squadron totals are counted adding the six best scores in the squadron so AT LEAST five of you must fly the missions. Our priorities are still the same: first XvT, then XWA and TIE for last.
  • Back to Basics, Round #4: new round, same story. Diamondback got 1st and 2nd place even in this round but I'd really like to see submissions also from the rest of the squadron, do you really want to leave all medals to Derek and Gidda? ;-)
  • Congratulations to CPT Derek Dan and CPT Tvan'Oris on their well deserved Palpatine Crescents for March MSE!
  • I've been the best EH pilot at T-Wing Trance competition and I got a shining IS-GW. The funny part is that I played only two matches but I guess that winning against a Tau and Avenger pilot is still a good result.

    The new WC for Wing XVIII on the Avenger has been selected. Congratulations from the Flight Office go out to Major Davi Anthol!

    Anthol has a solid history of Command and should excel in his new role as Wing Commander. Congrats again.

- TOP ACE -
Even for this week Diamondback Top Ace is Captain Drako! As I mentioned before, all files I received had good scores but Drako distinguished himself for the great performance in XvTF 125, where he improved HS of about 10,000 points! He flew that missions many times in order to achieve this result and he also submitted useful hints to the rest of the squadron. Excellent work!

The deadline is April 25th so we're plenty of time to fly all missions and get good scores but, please, no last-minute submissions this time! You don't want your CMDR suffer of an heart attack, do you? Also don't forget of the ONE FILE - ONE TRY rule when flying XvT!!

Today is Round #5 deadline! You are to fly Imperial training mission #5 and you're to complete it on Hard. Submit your pilot file to VA Wil Striker and CC your Commander. IS-SW for best score, IS-BW for runner up.
